Homeless encampment right of sidewalk

COT sent to RFCD referred to PCDOT: PRT241008_0628_01871 homeless encampment along the shoulder of La Cholla within PCDOT ROW responsibility, near N. Professional Park Dr. Per the constituent multiple people living behind a tarp off the sidewalk.

"HOMELESS CAMP - COMPLAINANT CALLED TO REPORT THERE ARE NEW HOMELESS ENCAMPMENTS IN THE
CULVERTS/VIADUCT UNDER N LA CHOLLA BL. STATED THE SMALLER UNNAMED WASH TO THE SOUTH ALSO
HAS ENCAMPMENT ISSUES. HE STATED WHEN PEGLER WASH GETS CLEANED OUT PEOPLE MOVE THEIR
BELONGINGS TO THE SMALLER WASH JUST TO THE SOUTH UNDER N LA CHOLLA BL. STATED THE SMELL OF
HUMAN EXCREMENT IS BAD AND TRASH IS BEING LEFT ON HIS AND NEIGHBORING PROPERTIES FROM
PEOPLE LIVING IN THE WASHES. WOULD LIKE THE TRASH TO BE CLEANED UP AND PEOPLE MOVED OUT OF
THE WASH. RFCD FPM – RCF"

Per RFCD referral - Can you please review the information provided. The District received a concern for homeless activity along north La Cholla Bl. location provided look to be within PCDOT road right away area of responsibility, can you please review this for possible maintenance per your protocol? Attached is a map and inspection photos of the area for your review.

1615 E Ainslee RV in front of the address for approximately 1 year. Called in by Anonymous for removal. Someone is living inside the RV. The RV is full of trash w/ mice. Referred the caller to PCDOT by DEQ.

At 2101 W Nebraska Street, Pima County has a material shortage yard and has approached on the neighboring property. Pima County DOT had the property Surveyed and it showed that PDOT will need to remove the existing fence and ballers and cables.

Constituent called to report around May 5th, 2025 a drunk driver took out a section of their chain link fence along Sahuarita Rd. The neighbor's fence was replaced at 9347 they reside at 9348 E Sycamore Springs Tr and they would also like to have their section of fence repaired.

Constituent called to report a down fence on Hayhook Ranch Rd before you enter the subdivision near the cattleguard. Send someone to inspect the area and repair the fence.

Ranchers in the area say many of the Open Range signs are missing or there are not enough of them. There have been two collisions with cattle in December 2025. The area had grown substantially population wise and many drivers are not aware of Open Range and the their responsibilities about beige cautious for cattle. This includes Sahuarita Road from AZ 83 to the Town of Sahuarita as well as Houghton Road from the I-ten South to Sahuarita. Thank you.

There's a narrow gap/seam in the pavement within the bike lane that can be a hazard for bicycles, by catching a wheel and causing a crash.

This is on westbound Ruthrauff Rd, running about 2 blocks from Gold Ave to the driveway of the QuickTrip at 2670 W Ruthrauff.
