lots of fountain grasses and perhaps bufflegrass growing along roads

County property adjacent to the North parking lot of St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church is overrun with Desert Broom. It's been a couple years since workers have cleared this area. It needs to be done again.

From Old Spanish Trail to Melpomene the vegetation is starting to encroach the roadway in both lanes if travel marked with ribbon can be performed when schedule permits See pics in Attachments

"Could you send this concern to PCDOT. I inspected the area for buffel grass and part of the concern is on private property and part is along the road way that is county maintained. There isn’t a lot but I attached some photos." Sent in f/m RFCD. Thank you.

Blocking roadway

Buffel grass is taking over both sides of rockcliff. The HOA next is the road is spending lots of time and money to have the invasive grass eliminated from private property. If this goes untreated by the county, it will lessen the effects of the work being done. Additionally, Pima county has an ordinance against invasive grasses. Please treat this area correctly having it dug out and sprayed rather than just cut down like has been done in the past, only to have it all return. A few years ago a chain gang did a GREAT job removing it all but no one ever sprayed.

Constituent called to report that the vegetation needs to be cleaned up on W. Magee north of Jensen dr. They reported that some utility workers came in and trimmed some of the trees and put them next to the sidewalk.
