  • W Sharps Rd Marana, Arizona, 85653 - Avra Valley
Three properties on W Sharps Road (1745, 1765 and 17185) have culvers installed on their properties that are maintained by PCDOT. Off road activity has affected the grading of the culvert making it more shallow resulting in downstream effect to the property at 1785 W Sharps Rd. Per Luke from RFCD said the culverts are ours.

Sidewalk full of dirt/sand after the last rain due to drainage area not being maintained. The slope forces the rain water and dirt over the sidewalk and into the street, not down to the culvert because the culvert is full of dirt and debris.
Sidewalk is slippery and dangerous to walk on.
  • W Hardy Rd & N Morning View Dr Tucson, Arizona, 85704 - Casas Adobes
Constituent states the road has not drained after rains and they have to drive into opposite lane on Hardy
  • N Upper Loma Linda Rd Mount Lemmon, Arizona, 85619 - US Congressional District AZ8

I am writing to raise concerns about ongoing erosion and runoff damage that is affecting my property and accessibility, 12807 N Upper Loma Linda Rd, Mount Lemmon, AZ 85619. The damage appears to be associated with drainage coming from the water tank area located near my property. I am uncertain who is responsible for maintaining the land around the water tank. Tha road which is maintained by Pima county is being affected.

The flow appears to be directed toward the Pima County roadway that services my property and functions as a turnaround.

Just below the pipe was a small retaining wall consisting of a pile of logs that gave way into the road and is accelerating the erosion.

I documented this damage with video footage in early November. Given the recent rain and snow, I am concerned that the erosion has worsened and that the road may no longer be safely drive-able. Additionally, the runoff is undermining the ground near my shed, creating a potential safety and structural risk.

  • S Contractors Way & E Illinois St Tucson, AZ, 85714, USA - Pima County

    SAFTEY HAZARD

Afternoon Every time it rains about the 220' foot of contractors where it intersects with Illinois St. is flooded. It takes many days for this to dissipate as there is no drainage to the wash on the west side of Contractors way along the railroad tracks. There is a wash there or retention pond but no way to get the water there.

This is concerning as when we go to and from our office at the end of the street on our motorcycles many times it is too deep to ride through and cannot see any pot holes or other debris in the temporary lake there.

I'm hoping that since the city of Tucson is currently readying to do water main replacement along contractors this would be the ideal time to also fix the very dangerous safety issue.

I would try hate for someone to have an accident due to the state of this intersection.

Thanks you for your attention to this important safety matter and concern.
