Requesting the sidewalk to be expanded / added @ 3920 W Linda Vista. Major Cross streets are Thornydale Rd @ Linda Vista for the new VA. You may contact the constituent for any questions.

This is a note respectfully requesting the following project be considered:
We kindly request a sidewalk on the south side of Sunrise Drive starting at the intersection of Sunrise Drive and Swan , headed west and going all the way to our main entrance at Calle De Marquez.
The current path is a series of asphalt driveways, manhole covers and decomposed granite. A sidewalk would help with safety and visibility.

COT referred to PCDOT: Per the constituent, my concern for the safety of Sabino Canyon Road. There are no sidewalks along Sabino Canyon Road. There are three entrances that see thousands of visitors a day North of Sunrise in a very concentrated area. This is because there are 2 schools on the West side, Canyon View Elementary and Esperero Canyon Middle School and Sabino Canyon Recreation Area on the East. Because of these 2 schools, there are multiple bus stops and people walking up and down Sabino Canyon Rd. In addition, you will see hikers, runners and cyclists using the road to enter into the Canyon. As a parent, I drive Sabino Canyon multiple times a day. It is dangerous and scary. It is unnerving that the street is not marked off from the dirt next to it where children/people are wandering.

People attending the farmers market cross the street freely causing traffic to stop in different places each time. We need a set of painted crosswalk bars and perhaps a sign or two. This is a rapidly growing area, it cannot have safety delayed for simple things like signs.

Would like to see if the side walk on the north side of William Carey street could be continued around to the north, on the shoulder of Houghton road to the street Holcomb Cir. The neighborhood kids can’t access the community church on the sidewalk, or the Community crosswalk tho the two neighboring schools. In the picture I have indicated in red, The area in which the sidewalk should continue.
