    I counted 4 dead trees (without searching) - the most alarming was directly over the swingset by the pavilion. Having a friend's child be killed last year by a fallen dead tree at the Howell Nature Center, I see things differently now than I did before. I absolutely couldn't miss this fully dead tree right over the swingset, nor could I unsee 3 clearly dead trees on the pathway from the pavilion to the restroom area. I understand nature is nature, but in a county park, we need to address dangers before they become an issue.

    Tree on the boulevard was damaged August 2023 when the EF0 tornado hit Canton Township. This is a county tree and I reached out to Wayne County Forestry at 734-522-7370 for removal. Sent pictures to them per Sharon and no response.

    That she was planted by the city between the two homes. Now the tree has grown and is completely on top of my roof and leaning completely against my home. I am blind/ visually impaired person and I requesting help to remove the tree before it falls on my roof.

    the intersection of 5 and newburgh- lancaster street, going into blue grass farms neighborhood.

    there is a large pine tree on the edge of the grass/road- under the pine tree there is a large bush that needs to be COMPLELTELY REMOVED FROM THE ROOT (it has come back multiple times since only being trimmed by the city). the bush is blocking the line of traffic when exiting the neighborhood

    7/29/25: Due to weed / brush growth by the Sheldon road bridge, the sight lines to determine if the road is safe to cross are so overgrown you basically have to be on Sheldon Rd. to look for southbound traffic. I typically have to be at the white line on the shoulder or leaning over it into the road to check traffic. Nothing is visible past the bridge. For speeds at 45+ mph it creates an unsafe situation for trail users. Please advise.

    If you could please trim the bushes and overgrowth on the Wayne county right of way as you are exiting Grove street to Merriman road. Overgrowth is blocking view of traffic coming north and trim a bit on the north side of grove street for traffic coming southbound.

    In Plymouth Township, the shoulder of westbound Ann Arbor Trail from McClumpha Road to Beck Road is overgrown and covered with branches. Cyclists must ride in the traffic lane because of the branches hanging over and on the shoulder. This is dangerous. I received a service request number, but no action was taken. In August I called and was told the service request was still pending. It is now September, and the issue has not been resolved. At this point, I cannot give you the service number because I deleted my communications on this matter several weeks ago. Perhaps you can follow up on this and get the problem fixed.
