There used to be a street light here. We walk this area early in the morning is very dark.
  • 801 N Wall Ave Joplin MO 64801, United States - Joplin
This corner needs a streetlight It is very dark At night when driving you can't see if there are cars parked on the street until you make the turn and shine your headlights, which by then it's too late I'm the mornings when people walk, it's pitch black With the woods to the south and the dead end street, homeless people like to cut through there I feel very unsafe when walking down the street We really need a light there!!!
  • 406 N Pearl Ave Joplin, Missouri, 64801 - Joplin
There is an old power pole, leaning against my garage and causing my garage to fall over. It is causing damage to the structure of the building and the building needs to be straightened up before it falls over. Please remove this power pole and move the phone line that’s attached to it.
  • 4001 Pennsylvania Ave Joplin, MO, 64804, USA - Joplin
As the resident living across from the desired location of the street light, I often witness cars driving past the entrance to the school. Stapleton elementary often has events in the evening that has people parking their cars up and along Pennsylvania Ave. there is a sidewalk. I think that both the school and the patrons would benefit from the lighted entrance. It is so dark in the area that it’s kinda spooky at night.

There needs to be a street light at the intersection of 26th and maiden Lane for evening goers to and from Mercy Park. There is a light in the Aldi‘s parking entrance but that’s not close enough to the intersection.
  • 2802 Missouri Ave Joplin, MO 64801, USA - Joplin

Wildwood Ranch housing development by W. 33rd , 34th St. near Wildwood Nursing home is in need of street lights. There are no street lights on our public streets. Housing area & streets are very dark at night.
It would be ideal if street lights could be installed on every corner at intersections.
    Thank you for your consideration.
  • 2004 W 14th St Joplin, Missouri, 64801 - Joplin
Streetlight is needed at corner of 14th and Willard.
  • 1702 Grand Ave Joplin, MO, 64804, USA - Joplin
Light is out on 17 st. and grand ave. This area of grand is very dark we could use some more street lights.
  • E 7th St & Kentucky Ave Joplin, MO, 64801, USA - Joplin
Where 7th and Kentucky meet is a heavily trafficked area with constant activity. Not only from cars, but also walkers and bikers. This spot would benefit greatly from a light and proper pedestrian crossing, as there are many issues with this area when everyone is trying to cross, turn, and so on. There is also a building directly on the corner of Kentucky that makes it difficult for vehicles facing south to make safe turns into traffic or go across. A light would 100% help this issue. I have observed this area for months, as I work close by. I go between driving my car to work and riding my bicycle. It can be incredibly difficult to get across this road on a bike or on foot properly and safely, and I think it is more than reasonable to request that there be more accommodation for walkers and bikers as well as car traffic, as there is an overwhelming amount of walkers and bikers in the town of Joplin, and they aren't going away any time soon. We really should have more accommodation for walking and biking by now given the sheer amount of people who travel this way throughout town every single day, especially in the area I'm talking about, and especially when the lack of accommodation makes for more of a hassle for normal car traffic as well and walkers and bikers and it's just such an unnecessary nuisance all around. It would increase safety in this busy area and take away the confusion of everyone trying to cross all at once in this area every single day, where walkers and bikers and cars are all practically stumbling over each other half the time. Please seriously consider and let me know what you think.
  • 3500-3598 Vestavia St Joplin, MO, 64801, USA - Joplin
Our street is very dark. There are children and elderly living on this street and it would make us feel more secure to have a street light.
