8630 Midnight Pass Rd Sarasota, FL, 34242, USA - Sarasota County
The flashing lights on this PED Signal do *not* respond to button pushes from pedestrians. This issue is especially significant at night, when people want to cross Midnight Pass after viewing the sunset. There is a *serious* problem with follow-up on this important safety issue. County trucks come and go, but the problem remains unsolved. This has gone on for about a year. Is there any wonder that the Sarasota-Bradenton area is No. 6 in the United States in the number of fatal crashes involving pedestrians. (See today’s newsfeed from WWSB, Channel 7.)
Will someone *please* take this safety issue seriously, and solve the problem once and for all?

Mcintosh Rd & Palmer Ranch Pkwy Sarasota, FL, 34238, USA - Sarasota County
When activated, the pedestrian and cyclist crossing signal at Palmer Ranch Parkway and the Legacy Trail normally results in a "No Left Turn" sign to activate for vehicles going south on McIntosh wanting to turn east onto Palmer Ranch Parkway. I cross the intersection about 8 times a week and lately I noticed many vehicles turning left into the crosswalk when the crossing signal is on. Last Friday four cars turned in front of me as I was crossing. I think the "No Left Turn" sign is not turning on or not working properly. Please check this out. Thank you.

ophelia's restaurant is creating an extremely dangerous situation, double parking in the street, the valets and patrons open car doors without looking for oncoming traffic, they need to secure more parking and have room for people to pull into the restaurant parking lot instead of filling up the lot and double parking in the street. Friday and Saturday night the worst but someone is going to get killed with what they are doing

I am a local citizen who travels on MacEachen frequently. The crosswalk that crosses MacEachen, fro behind Publix to Behind the Biglots/Autoparts plaza is totally faded & is putting pedestrian traffic at risk. Please send a striping crew to reapply paint to established crosswalk, can barely see it in the daytime, & not at all at night. Thank You.

Siesta Dr Sarasota FL 34239, United States - San Remo

No category for pot holes The entrance to North Bridge Outlook park from Siesta Drive has severe potholes. They are getting bigger and bigger. They are dangerous and will cause damage to vehicles unless one drives very slowly which is not always practical when pulling out into traffic on Siesta Drive. They should be filled ASAP.

    Thank you
