Detroit Water & Sewerage Dept. PLUS

The round sewer thing is completely covered by dirt & clogged. I scraped dirt off of it to make sure I was remembered correctly that one was there. The square grate is filled with trash & not completely in the hole.

The City came and cleaned out the alley but left the trash behind.they never came to get it up

I've had 2 plumbers out to my house because every time it rains my basement floods which caused my furnace and hot water tank's pilot to go out and with it damp they can be relit. I have spent hundreds of dollars on plumbing services. I had Hartman and Dons come out today to be told once again, nothing can be done because their 75 foot snake and camera can't see the blockage it's so bad and can't tell me what it is. I am now hoping the COD can come out and investigate because I am not getting help in my own and I call myself taking all the necessary steps as the homeowner. Please help

Resident called to report that the city sewer is clogged and sewage is backing into his basement. He has had plumbers snake his main drain to the city sewer line and the blockage is not on the resident's side. Resident says back up are affecting him and his neighbors.

up from backyard to alley we have 2 elderly
Parents that have dementia and alheimers and a
lot of other issues and it's hard for them to live in
these conditions with backed up sewage in house please have someone to clean drains in alley

Heads up my spouse & myself cleared the drain basins at the corner of Puritan & Stansbury (between the Church and City Lot) due to them being completely covered with leaves . We placed 1 leaf bag on the berm for pick up, but it wasn't. I suppose because there's no address.

Extremely strong sewer smell in alley. one drain partly collapsed

On 2-26-22, crew came and got stuck in my lot. Tow truck came to pull it out. left damage. requesting lot to be fixed.

Sewer main line seems to be blocked. Address service line unable to drain to main. Service line clear all the way to main but still no flow.

The residents at 5950 Newport are putting up a wooden fence from their backyard across the alley to the front of a vacant lot adjacent to the address of 5983 Lakewood. Ingress or egress from this part of the alley is blocked. Unknown if the owned this vacant lot there are two vacant lots adjacent to the address of 5983 Lakewood. The fencing goes all the way to the sidewalk in front of the vacant lot.
