    This is the second submission regarding this issue. I have contacted the water department including their lawn and concrete department. I have talked to the manager of these departments and still nothing has been resolved.

    In fall of 2020 the City of Detroit Water Department fixed a water main break and removed the tree on my front lawn near the curb. The lawn was damaged and the tree stump was not removed. I called City of Detroit Water Department and Lawn & Concrete numerous times and left messages with no response or action. I have requested to speak to a supervisor multiple times and have not received a follow up. The tree stump and lawn damage is dangerous for the children playing in the area and for my toddler son.

    The sidewalk had been raised up by a tree which was removed by the City but the side walk was never restored. This spot is now a stumbling block and causes difficulty in grass cutting because it is raised up high enough to damage a lawn mower blade.

    In Winter 2020 the Water Dept repaired a water line connected to the fire hydrant in my front lawn. After making several calls to the Dept, I was advised that the lawn would be fixed once the weather was better. The issue has not been remedied or acknowledged since the initial hydrant repair.
