Basement flooded up to about 24 inches. Hot water tank and furnace issues.

This is my basement the day of the rain storm we had on June 25-26th. I have more pictures of my basement. I had to throw away all of me and my kids clothing, toys, furniture, shoes, printer, dressers and etc

This property had about 3 feet of water in the basement after the storm. Damages affected the walls, flooring, bar, furnace, hot water tank, doors, and appliances (washer and dryer and stove). So complete sanitization and mold remediation will be required along with painting, replacement of damaged appliances, hot water tank, furnace, doors and wood paneling throughout the basement and removal of molded items from the basement, which will require dumpster rental for several days. In addition, after sanitization of walls and floors, they will require painting and new flooring for the basement. Also, the water department will need to determine the cause and resolution of the sewage backup from the piping in basement, backyard and alley.

Initial flood followed by five subsequent floods. The initital event took place on the 25-26th filling the basement with three feet of water. After receeding every time even a little rain came the basement would flood all over again. Lots of clothing, appliances and furniture were damaged.
