There is another sinkhole in the alley in the first block off Jefferson outside of the garage at 1027 Burns. The alley is between Burns and Iroquois. This area was previously covered with asphalt over brick. A number of people on the block have alley garages. This problem will significantly impact their ability to get in/out of their garages.

Sink hole in front of property. According to resident, city filled hole with asphalt that eventually fell into the whole as it expanded. Nothing has been done since. Sink hole is preventing water from entering nearby basin

According to resident, A city truck forced a sink hole in our alley about 3/4 years ago and when reported they told us it was our responsibility. It’s about 3 maybe 4 feet deep .

After the contractors replaced the water line and filled the hole back in a few weeks later the yard started to sink and I don’t know if it’s water causing it and I have small children and don’t know if it’s going to cause a huge hole but I definitely need someone to investigate the problem.

It appears that a car may have driven over the curb area causing damage. The water is running up and into the street to drain. You can see the tire tracks on the grass in the photo

This issue have been reported several times. The orange and white sign has been there for over 5 years.
