Cannot update prior report of sink hole with newer pictures. See comments on earlier report. 4times its size compared to last week. Alley closed at one end for new apron, so you MUST drive over this to enter a garage or backyard at the north end of Helen or E Grand Blvd. Prior fix did not fill in sink hole. It got a plate and patch asphalt which quickly started to fall inside of the hole.

The sink hole in the alley reported a week ago was repaired with a metal plate and a circle of asphalt around the perimeter. But the hole was not filled. The hole is exposed again and at least a foot wide.

On Aug 3 2023, we reported a water main leak in our front yard The city came out and dug up our yard and fixed the pipe But when they left they did not fix our yard at all They covered the hole over but once it rained it has all caved in and is a big hazard to my children and neighbors It also looks terrible and torn up So it's unsafe as well as needs to be landscaped again When I spoke with the city about it, they said it would be next year before someone could fix it

This is the 3rd time reporting this issue since 2021. The sink hole keeps reopening. The city put asphalt on it 2 days ago, and it has reopened already. It sits at the end of my driveway. I am a senior and unable to park because I'm afraid it will open more and damage my car. Please fix the problem under ground that keeps causing the sink hole to open up.

It's been 3 months now going in to the 4th month and the problem still not resolved. City so careless about it don't know when it's going to be done.

1 foot by 8 inches hole. The city of Detroit dug a hole a few days ago. the hole just collapsed today.

There is water over Merrick St & Rosa Parks by the entrance gate to HART EMS. This was previously reported to the city of Detroit a year ago and nothing has been done to repair the huge sink hole which now has water covering it. This is very dangerous and could cause severe damage to our EMS & personal vehicles! Does the city want to be responsible financially for fixing damage to our vehicles? Also this also poses danger to a pedestrian or person riding a bicycle! Please fix this asap! Not by putting a barrel & cones!
