Sink hole in recent road work. Area size of 4 feet by 6 feet by 4-6 inches deep

Neighbors that utilize this alley fill in the potholes regularly to traverse alley, these depressions continually sink back in. It seems as though that the sewage pipe below is collapsing. If so, should be checked out before total failure

THIS IMAGE IS RELATED TO SERVICE ORDER #82-164, REPORTED FOR ACCOUNT #430-4049.300. THIS HAS BEEN, ESCALATED SEVERAL TIMES FROM WHAT WE ARE TOLD. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD EXTERNALLY TO OUR CHURCH NEIGHBORHOOD AND COMMUNITY. AND BEGINNING TO BECOME A DUMPING SITE FOR TRASH, RUBBISH AND DEBRIS.
NEIGHBORHOOD RESIDENTS (INCLUDING CHILDREN) USE THIS AS A THOROUGHWAY THROUGHOUT THE DAY GOING TO NEARBY STORES, CONEY ISLAND , AND PATH HOME. AREA IS TOTALLY UNSAFE FOR ANYONE. THESE BOARDS ARE BECOMING ROTTEN AND UNSTABLE.
MOST IMPORTANTLY EVERY TIME IT RAIN OUR BASEMENT FLOODS CAUSING US TO CONTINUOUSLY INCUR COSTS TO PUMP GROSS AMOUNTS OF WATER OUR FACILITY TO HAVE IT REMOVED, THIS WAS REPORTED SEVERAL YEARS AGO WHEN THIS "UNACCEPTABLE FIX" WAS APPLIED.

Bagley St & Trumbull St - pothole along the curb

Heavy equipment created major cracks in the sidewalk creating a hazardous condition and potential cave in. Also created craters in the berm. This all occurred on March 6, 2026. The equipment seems to have been operated by City Contractors.

This crack is in the alley behind 8921 Mandale Street, Detroit MI 48209 where we live. It is near a basin or where the drainage is where the runoff water goes. It is cracking in half so a sinkhole can form there soon.. We would really appreciate it if this could get fixed as soon as possible. Thank you.
