    Restoration problem when sidewalk was replace. They lowered the sidewalk 4-8" and left a very steep dropoff. It is too steep to cut the grass (maybe a 45 degree clif) and it is eroding on to the sidewalk already. It is really bad around the manhole cover. The present work (August 2020) was not seeded. Please help me get this transition regraded and seeded so I can take car of the lawn and sidewalk.

    This is the third notification to the city in as many years regarding this concern The standing water in front of this home began a few years back after Rosemont had a re pavement of the street. It has been an issue since then. The water collection is unsightly and catches trash, debris etc. The standing water is a health and safety hazard, particularly in the winter months when the water freezes over and cars are making a right turn off of Fenkell onto Rosemont onto this thick patch of ice.

    The City of Detroit has been installing speed bumps around the city. Is it possible to install them along 25th Street, between Bagley and Porter. There is a playscape and a preschool at the former Webster School. The speed bumps would help secure the safety of the children who play on the playscape and/or attend the Headstart Program.
