Water main break of 7-16-20 was fixed by Water & Sewage on 7-21-20. Curb has eroded and sunken due to most recent water main break and previous one in September 2019. Also street pavement has multiple sunken areas, particularly nearest the curb; causing water to collect. Street pavement is sunken and raised in multiple areas.

Water main break and the work to repair it damaged 2 flats of sidewalk (sunken), curb (broken/cracked in spots), grass on berm, and approach of driveway (cracked). Also, street pavement which was resurfaced only 2-3 years ago, now has numerous sunken AND raised pavement sections on both sides of the street; causing water to collect at various spots. Street pavement is also separating at seams. Previous water main break of September 2019 on same area & block of Salem also caused damage to grass on berm, street pavement and curb.

Also, large sunken areas of grass on berm collect water, resulting in constant mushroom growth.

I have lived here, next door for 45 yrs. and take care of my property. This eyesore next door to me (14829 Seymour) has been vacant for at least 11 yrs. Now I was told somebody a lady ( whom I met) purchased it to restore. That was over a month ago? I was also told it would be started in September? Since then debris has been scattered on the abandoned property next door. Plus the boards have been taken off the doors and just left in the front yard. Rendering the house open and dangerous! Noone has not even showed to at least cut he grass?? I have lived here for 45 yrs. an as a property tax payer don't appreciate this.
This is horrible!
The special pickup gentleman even took pictures, because he said he can't pick up debris on lawns!!

Sidewalk and Curb

When sidewalk was replaced, the dirt surrounding the sidewalk was not and is a safety hazard .
And my curb was removed and never replaced.

So I don't understand how our taxes are being used to fix our roads but this street was completely repaired then dug up again to do I don't know what and the worst part is that the workers left this poorly "patched". Why repair a road then do something else after?? How long do we have to wait till this road is fixed? It's ridiculous for those of us who have to drive through this EVERYDAY, im sure the city won't pay for the repairs and damage it's causing to our cars, it's crazy many complaints have been made for the past 2 years, I think the only way to get this fixed is to go on Fox2 or bring awareness to this because this is just ridiculous.
