  • 5191 Taylor Ave Ne Bainbridge Island WA, 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island

The new owners of the property on the SW corner of Taylor Ave and Ronald Court have erected a new fence in the road right of way on both Taylor and Ronald Court. A few neighbors approached the owners to advise them as such and were basically told to mind their own business. When queried as too whether they obtained a survey they said "yes". However there are no new survey marks to be seen. They do not seem interested in knowing road right of ways extend beyond the asphalt. The owners have been warned to stop work but they are not willing. Please require them to conduct a survey with a licensed surveyor and put the fence in the proper location!

Also, the owners have been observed filling in drainage ditches with a tractor and affecting the natural hydrology without any permit. The area is know to be very swampy in winter so a wetland survey would be appropriate. It is possible portions of the new fence are being erected in a wetland.

309 Wallace Way Nw Bainbridge Island, Washington, 98110 - Bainbridge Island
The property has numerous animals like chickens, ducks and geese and I'm not sure what all. We're unable to see exactly what is there because of the high fences around the property and overgrown foliage, but we hear them squawking. The is definitely a health issue because of all the rats and mice coming from her property onto the neighboring properties.

This home was allowed to be built in the middle of a wetlands area. Tons of concrete were poured into the ground and the wetlands were partially filled in with excavation dirt and flooded. They pumped it directly into the sound that day. It has changed the runoff pattern which now floods a septic drain field, yards and basements of at least the 2 homes adjacent. This did not occur prior to this wetlands violation/fill in. No frogs, ducks or herons here anymore either. Photos and video available.
