Rain runoff from roof line and yard is supposed to drain to the street, however, the water pools. Because it cannot slope down as the back of an ADA sidewalk ramp is against the property line. Curb coring, or other modification needed to allow water to run off property

Current status of the area question is mud.

Work orders should not necessarily need to include an image rather visual inspection by appropriate members. The curb in question has been marked with white paint.

I am writing to formally request the installation of speed bumps along N Olive Ave due to the ongoing and significant safety concerns caused by excessive speeding and the large amount of traffic on our street.

Residents have repeatedly observed drivers traveling far above the posted speed limit, creating dangerous conditions for families, children, pedestrians, and pets. Traffic volume has also increased substantially, making the problem more urgent.

While the Police Department is aware of the issue, they do not have the staffing or resources to post an officer on N Olive Ave consistently to deter speeding. Because of this limitation, long-term traffic-calming measures—specifically speed bumps—are the most effective and practical solution to reduce speeding and improve safety for everyone in the neighborhood.

I respectfully request that the city evaluate N Olive Ave for the installation of speed bumps or similar traffic-calming devices as soon as possible. Our community would greatly appreciate prompt consideration of this matter to help prevent potential accidents or injuries.
