Lux Pub & Club blatantly violates 8.18.020 (persistent noises a nuisance... between the hours of nine p.m. and seven a.m.) on a regular basis; noise frequently goes beyond 2 AM. Bar music can be heard several blocks down and several stories high. This is high concern considering they plan on operating every weekday after July 1st.

Any attempts to communicate with the business results in rude confrontations claiming residents "should have known about the bar before moving in", despite having recently moved into a neighborhood of apartment complexes built in the 1990s.

The city merely "acknowledging" the issue is not resolving anything.

I am writing to bring to your attention a recurring issue that has been causing a disturbance to our business operations and posing a safety risk to our community. The problem concerns a repeat offender named John, who has been repeatedly parking his vehicle on private business property with his unleashed dog. Despite repeated complaints, no legal action has been taken against him.

This issue has been affecting our business delivery schedule, which we pay for as tax-paying citizens of Oakland. Moreover, the presence of RVs on the site has only added to the problem, creating an unsafe working environment for our employees.

I would also like to point out that we have businesses down the street that have legal teams on retainer to handle this issue. While we do not want to take legal action, we may be forced to do so if the situation is not resolved promptly.

We understand that the matter may require some time and effort to resolve, but we urge you to take necessary steps to address this issue as soon as possible. We believe that it's essential to ensure the safety of our community, especially with the added risk of an unleashed dog on the property.

This restaurant at 2805 telegraph avenue is creating a lot of noise until 4am on Saturday and every weekend. I don’t think the business has no liquor license and for sure not have a permit to open until 4 am.

Residence at 10004 C St has 2 driveways, possibly unpermitted and is putting up no parking signs at both driveways.

4/11/25 many customers/clients have come to this house today to purchase and pickup items for this person. People come in and out of this house with items. It’s frustrating because they're always double parked for long periods of time.

Recently repaired front yard fence exceeds Oakland fence ordinance of 42". The driveway gate opens blind causing dangers to pedestrians, cyclists, and on coming auto traffic. This fence at 514 is adjacent to a small section of fence at 522 that has been ordered removed due to height also. // Please order this overall very unsafe fence and driveway gate to be lowered down to 42 inches as the neighbor to the West of them has been recently ordered to do also.
