City of Oakland Private Property - Code Enforcement PLUS

Foul smell / odor from backyard. Chicken coop too close to property line 5ft and adjacent neighbor structure within 20ft.

There are two large roosters and several chickens that make noise 24 hours a day and I can’t sleep. There is also a small puppy that is left outside all day and all night to cry and scratch at the door. Are roosters and chicken coops permitted in this area? This is a public disturbance. How do I check for permits/zoning/city ordinances?

Code enforcement closed prior cases. However, the mold still exists, and is evident inside other apartments as well. Not to mention someone us using the (my) unit 1. Rhey have a shower curtain, towels, soap, comet. Which is absolutely ridiculous and against the law! Who is showering in my house?!!!! I am requesting that either the closed case be reopened or a new code violation report be initiated. The house still has visible mold. What inspector cleared the unit??? It smells horribly of mold and mildew. Then they didn't remediate properly. The house was uninhabitable because of mold, but yet only halfway painted. Incredibly even in the areas they "fixed". Even after living there for 9 years, you'd think they'd give the unit a once over. But no, same mold exposed paint. Left property inside the unit during and after remediation, like there wouldn't be cross contamination. The building is water damaged and it needs a complete inspection not just one unit that was horribly infested with mold. The water quality should also be checked as the pipes are rusted and caked with lime and rust. And the owner, Surville Vaughn has resumed his illegal halfway house scam - possibly putting residents in danger and exposing them to newly released felons.

Painting vehicle parts without a paint booth.

There is an adult rooster nesting near or at 3160 Coolidge Avenue and it crows constantly, unknown if the residents there are intentionally keeping it, but if so, they are not bringing it in at night. Crows starting around 2:30 am and goes all morning and into the afternoon. Issue has gone on a few months now
