This property is hosting outdoor parties with amplified music every other Saturday. Though it's a residential neighborhood, there's a sign on the home advertising a business.

Property divided into two units, for one for long term rental and one for short term rental. Is this allowed? Do they have an city business permit/license for the airbnb? Property is not owner occupied

Queen of Sheba doesn't have a storage area for their two dumpsters. They leave them on the sidewalk and street 24/7 for the last year plus.

It blocks the sidewalk and is a safety and parking hazard. Also it detracts from the neighborhood.

7/11 added a motion sensitive camera with a bright blue light that then emits a loud announcement “welcome to 7/11 for security you are being recorded, thank you for shopping at 7/11.” It is very loud, I can hear it hundreds of feet away at all hours of the day many times per hour. It is a nuisance, the lights are quite bright too.

Hello, good afternoon, to whom it may concern: I want to make a call for help and attention to the Housing Inspectors of the city of Oakland, to report this home located at 919 53rd avenue oakland Ca 94601. These people of Cambodian origin, They installed 8 security cameras outside in front of their house, and that's good, but here the problem and our discontent is because 4 of their night cameras are pointing right at our property at numbers 916 and 918 53rd, avenue Oakland CA 94601 and then this is illegal. Because they are violating our privacy rights as family and citizens, they are assaulting our peace and tranquility, it is also causing us a lot of stress and anguish, especially to our children and minors, we really feel harassed and spied on 24 hours a day. In that house where the cameras are located, mostly single adult men live, we are afraid that they suffer from some sexual mental disorder and that is perhaps why they spy on our children and women. it is his intentions of those male people. Please help us with this situation of harassment and order them to point them at the sidewalk or the street and not directly at our house., I request that an Inspector of Oakland City send them a warning or citation regarding this complaint. and ordered them to change the direction of those cameras. Daily Vehicle & Non-Resident Trespass, Public Exposure to Hazardous Smoke, 2nd Hand Smoke & Related Litter. COMPLAINT.

The owner and tenants (at this duplex 213 & 215 - 8th St) appear aware of frequent outside (not related to residence) vehicles that park in its driveway. The driveway is short and vehicles that park there without permission (trespass) frequently encroach, block and restrict the pedestrian sidewalk. The property owner(s) apparently do not know how to correct this daily problem.

The vehicles-drivers that park there are for their convenience only and to patronize the business next door (Won Kee Supermarket, 233-8th St). There is a sign at the top edge of the garage door, "DO NOT PARK ON DRIVEDWAY" but it is ignored.

Most of the male adult Asian employees from the supermarket trespass into the driveway and sit on the steps to smoke, creating a public exposure to hazardous smoke and 2nd hand smoke along with their litter (cigarette butts and packaging) that has to be cleaned by the residence owner's assistant. Their smoking is clearly within 25-feet of the front entrances of the residence and jeopardize those walking on the pedestrian sidewalk, including children, seniors and non-smokers.

Investigation, monitoring and a positive permanent solution requested.

Godzilla Puff Palace at 1604 International Blvd used to be a cafe. It did a complete remodel and is now a smoke shop. There was no building/construction/ remodeling permits for this location at all. Please investigate. Also, since it's a smoke shop are minors allowed to go in without getting carded?

Charcoal smoke in confined area with dozens of apartments surrounding the smoke.

After-hours recorded announcement in parking lot is too loud. It can be heard down the block. This announcement constantly disturbs a quiet residential neighborhood whenever the rental office is closed - night, early morning, Sunday afternoon. Location management claims they can't do anything, because "it's up to Corporate". Please cite them for code enforcement, to get Corporate's attention.
This is a serious nuisance. We can quote the entire message from memory after hearing it hundreds of times.

Illegal commercial business being run. Pounding, sawing, all day from early until late sometimes. Building materials improperly stored all over the property.

Extremely loud band currently playing outside this restaurant. Been playing for hours.
