    unlicensed and illegal night club that is causing unsafe conditions for local residents. There have been assaults, drunk driving, hit and run injury accidents, drug dealing, excessive noise, and lewd behavior from this business from 2am-5am Friday and Saturday nights. City leaders and code enforcement need to take immediate action. The attached photo is from 4am on Saturday night, which shows a line around the block to get into an unlicensed night club operating after normal business hours.

    According to the USAgain website, they currently have 7 clothing collection bins within Oakland's City limits. Most likely, all 7 are in violation of the City Ordinance governing their placement and operation. That's certainly the case with the one at Edna Brewer Middle School in a zone where bins are not permitted. It also appears to be the case with the two bins on High Street in East Oakland. For the public record, I'm sorry to say that the Code Enforcement Department is failing to follow through on complaints. A case in point is a complaint I filed in February about two bins in the Chevron station in Adams Point. In July, I spoke to the head of the department but the bins are still there and most likely the requisite fines are not being enforced.
