    The noise from the loud gas-powered leaf-blowers and string-trimmers once again permeated the Lakeshore Homes residential area down the hill flarge parcel with significant canopy coverresidence. The wornce again behind a gate and in the backyard so I could not reach them. I captured the noise with a video that is picturd below with a screenis shot and available upon rOn equest.

    I left a flyer on the windshield of the truck, and sent a card with the flyer and handwritten note to the resident urging them to work with their yard care crew to comply with the Code.

    It has been nearly 2 years since I first contacted the worker and the resident, and they have made no progress towards complying with hxcelsior.

    7/11 recently installed a camera, flood light/flashing blue light, and loud speaker as theft deterrent, but it is extremely loud and bright, which disturbs everyone who lives on the block. I can hear the announcement and see the light from within my apartment across the street at all hours, and I'm not sure how they are allowed to install something that is so disruptive for nearby residents. Is there anything that can be done to mitigate the impact?

    There is a squatter house on our block that has been a major problem since June 2024. Issues include:
    • 🚫 No running water for over two months — occupants are relieving themselves on the property, creating serious sanitation and health hazards.
    • 💊 Frequent drug use and suspicious activity at all hours of the day and night.
    • 👶 Children and unknown adults coming in and out constantly, raising concerns for both child welfare and public safety.
    • 🏚️ Property is in poor condition and contributing to neighborhood blight.
    • 🚷 Occupants trespass on neighbors’ yards, causing fear and disruption for residents.
    • 🛠️ Damage to public property — they added unauthorized concrete to our newly paved street, ruining city work and infrastructure.
    • ⚠️ Ongoing for more than a year with no improvement, only worsening conditions.

    This situation is an urgent threat to health, safety, and quality of life in our neighborhood. We are requesting immediate inspection and enforcement action from the City of Oakland

The cars are environmental hazards and are polluting the neighborhood. Does the town business have zoning approval and all the cars in the lot. All the oil dumped on the grounds. What is going on. Bob Jackson family friends are out of office now. Can we please be treated as normal Oakland residents now?

    After-hours recorded announcement in parking lot is too loud. It can be heard down the block. This announcement constantly disturbs a quiet residential neighborhood whenever the rental office is closed - night, early morning, Sunday afternoon. Location management claims they can't do anything, because "it's up to Corporate". Please cite them for code enforcement, to get Corporate's attention.
    This is a serious nuisance. We can quote the entire message from memory after hearing it hundreds of times.
