City of Oakland Private Property - Code Enforcement PLUS

Every week people come and scavenge through the trash in my neighborhood. I am concerned that they may be trying to steal sensitive information while they collect cans. Usually three different scavengers come through. The picture of this vehicle is only one of them.

Multiple vehicles in varying condition being worked on Tires out front Vehicles appear to be missing numerous parts ;

Illegal sales of cannabis and tobacco sales to minors from junior high school. Tobacco sales in violation of least 2 city ordinance. Sales of menthol and flavored tobacco products. It is happening on public sidewalk near junior high school.

Possible marijuana grow operation. Multiple attempts for annual fire inspection but no access. Most of building illegally boarded up with blocked exits.

Unpermitted auto repair continuing on four cars on 67th Avenue

Recent construction of an approx 12' X 22' fully enclosed building extension attached to existing garage. Construction is of recycled wood, fiberglass corrugated panels and includes enclosure of a former exterior stairway to deck level above. Unpermitted construction is in the driveway/ property set-back area, adjacent to properties at 3721 & 3729 Lakeshore Ave. Concerns are retaining set-back, fire hazard, and blight.

3448 Mirasol Ave, Oakland has had an illegal home gym in their garage for over a year now. It has been reported multiple times, then the property owner stops hosting gym activities until the complaint against them goes away. The house to the right of the red SUV is the gym house and all of her gym parking is in front of my house (gray car) and my neighbor's house across the street (white car). PLEASE SHUT THIS GYM DOWN - they start at 5am and generally run til 9am. There is a myriad of revolving cars in/out of this neighborhood due to the illegal gym activities. I'm SICK of it.

This empty lot has been turned into an RV park and a vehicle storage. There's a flimsy fence that is collapsing and lots of garbage and storage sheds erected.

I am writing to bring to your attention ongoing disturbances and illegal activities. These issues have been significantly affecting the peace and safety of the surrounding area.

Every weekend, the building hosts large, unauthorized events that feature loud music starting around 9:00 PM and continuing until 2:00 AM or 3:00 AM. This persistent noise is disruptive to the neighborhood and creates an intolerable living environment. In addition to the noise, there are frequent incidents of random individuals blocking parking spaces, driveways, and creating congestion on the street.

Furthermore, there have been troubling reports of underage individuals engaging in drinking and smoking in the vicinity. More concerning is the fact that these events also involve illegal drug vending, where drugs are being sold to attendees. This illegal activity has contributed to an increase in traffic, as well as a heightened sense of unease and concern for the safety of the community.

Given the seriousness of these issues, I respectfully request that you take appropriate action to address the situation. The ongoing disturbances not only affect the quality of life for residents but also raise significant safety concerns.
