City of Oakland Private Property - Code Enforcement PLUS

This unit is being rented out as a short term Airbnb unit. I met the 2 guests yesterday, 4/2/25, as they were checking into the unit.

- There is a RV located in the top back area of this property,
- There are people living permanently in this RV for more than 10 months,
- The people living in this RV has cars going in and out directly to this RV location,
- We assume that the owner of the property rent this RV and they don't have legal city permits to do this.

The place where the RV is located is an empty lot, at the back top area, this lot is owned by people who live in 3238 Brunell.

We are worry about how the RV rental has running water, electricity, and sewer, etc.

Help us pls.

Hello, good afternoon, to whom it may concern: I want to make a call for help and attention to the Housing Inspectors of the city of Oakland, to report this home located at 919 53rd avenue oakland Ca 94601. These people of Cambodian origin, They installed 8 security cameras outside in front of their house, and that's good, but here the problem and our discontent is because 4 of their night cameras are pointing right at our property at numbers 916 and 918 53rd, avenue Oakland CA 94601 and then this is illegal. Because they are violating our privacy rights as family and citizens, they are assaulting our peace and tranquility, it is also causing us a lot of stress and anguish, especially to our children and minors, we really feel harassed and spied on 24 hours a day. In that house where the cameras are located, mostly single adult men live, we are afraid that they suffer from some sexual mental disorder and that is perhaps why they spy on our children and women. it is his intentions of those male people. Please help us with this situation of harassment and order them to point them at the sidewalk or the street and not directly at our house., I request that an Inspector of Oakland City send them a warning or citation regarding this complaint. and ordered them to change the direction of those cameras. Home has two driveways. Cars are being parked up close to the front porch. Neighborhood is concerned that the driveways are being turned into a parking lot

Neighbor is advertising for her new home business with signage reflected in picture attached. I am inquiring whether this is within City statutes. The sign seems intended for permanent placement and I am assuming neighbor intends to run classes from home / garage. I am concerned about the sign as well as patrons taking up precious street parking.

Large crowd drinking alcohol outside. Very loud amplified band playing, in violation of Lumpia Company restaurant's alcohol license.

Graffiti is located on the 5th Avenue side of the business' wall. Unfortunately, graffiti vandals have vandalized the business' wall on numerous occasions. Please suggest to the business owner of the property that he/she install video cameras so that the vandals can be identified and arrested.

Multiple broken down vehicles with multiple people working on them Significant activity occurs around 4-6 am
