  • 5348 Lawton Ave Oakland, CA, 94618, USA - Shafter
This house appears to be in serious disrepair and has an extreme rat problem which is causing problems all along the 5300 block of both Lawton and Boyd Avenues (I'm on the 5300 block of Boyd Avenue myself and we've been overwhelmed with rats lately). I would like the city to investigate this property and the public health risk it poses to the rest of the neighborhood. My understanding is that the occupants, who might be squatters, will not allow Vector Control inside.

  • 4615 Manila Ave Oakland CA 94609, United States - Temescal
Residents are running an auto mechanic shop out of their front yard in a residential neighborhood that is not zoned for such purpose (note the upturned cap to a truckbed). Motorcycles constantly being worked on on the sidewalk or in the street. Leaking oil onto street. Leaving equipment and trash blocking the sidewalk and parking spaces. This is a known flop house for opioid users. Foot traffic all night long in and out of the driveway and back garage to buy, sell and consume opioids. Blight also includes household items, dirty laundry and other trash in the front area of the house and on the porch.
  • 1305 31st Ave Oakland, CA 94601, USA - Hawthorne
homeless cut the fence and moved in the vacant building. The owner of property never take action to secure the area. Homeless set a fire with gas or oil for cooking. It is very close to the other residence and overgrown weed so there is fire hazard. Also, hazardous waste is piling up.
  • 546 Weldon Ave Oakland CA 94610, United States - Lakeshore
Construction project is abandoned, has been in this state for years now. Sidewalk is blocked and forces pedestrians into street in order to pass (fence in way, overgrown weeds and bushes preventing a clear path). Illegal dumping was observed within the last couple of days.
  • Elverton Dr Oakland, CA, 94611, USA - Forestland
Please remove the abandoned concrete road barriers left behind after recent road repair. After the road collapsed, these barriers were placed to prevent someone from crashing. The road has since been repaired and reopened. There are two (pictured) at the corner of Thorndale and Elverton Drive. There is a third to the north along Elverton Drive before it reaches Skylind Blvd.
