City of Oakland Private Property - Code Enforcement PLUS

I am reporting a potential mold or bacterial growth in the bathtub of my unit at 10100 Walnut Street (Unit 4). After returning home from a displacement for plumbing repairs, I noticed red staining in and around the bathtub. The staining appears biological in nature and resembles Serratia or another moisture-related growth. The area was not previously noted during my move-in inspection, and cleaning products have not removed it. I am requesting a health and safety inspection to determine whether this substance poses a health risk and to ensure the area is properly remediated.

I am complaining about 3327 68th ave. they are clearly working on thier plumbing. they left this set up but now I have a muddy mess on my property. you can see the hole in one picture and the muddy mess in another.

Homeowner once again trying to build driveway without proper permits. Space does not meet the minimum length of 18' or the minimum width of 9'.

Owner was told to apply for a variance and has not done so.

This is related to previous complaint where owner and contractor filed fraudulent plans.

During a power outage in June of 2025, when trying to exit the building, I noticed several lights in the stair well were out. Additionally, the emergency open function on the garage door did not work. Also, someone got stuck in the elevator and the fire department had to come and open the door. There are no window screens/coverings for the unit windows. Blown fuses/outlets in apartment unit's kitchen.

Demolition on first floor of 1341 58th Ave aka. 5101 International Blvd Bldg B. Area is visible from parking area but not accessible to tenants.

On Saturday Oct 18, subcontractors sprayed the southern side of this 7 story new construction project. Their 8-foot mesh barrier failed to contain painting overspray, leaving microscopic paint droplets on nearby cars. This follows an earlier surface-prep phase, when drifting dust affected over 20 vehicles in a parking lot across the street. Surface of over 20 vehicles are severely damaged from lack of containment methods in this construction project. I am a resident living across the street.

Project management is not cooperative, and they continue their work preparing surface for painting with no plans for overspray containment. We are fearing the damage that will occur when they start painting the facade of the building that faces 3rd Street.

Under BAAQMD Regulation 1-301 , I have filed a Public Nuisance Complaint (Case #CPM456167) on Monday October 20.

Housing construction happens every day with out permits. Starts before 8am.

Two shacks built in backyard. Inches from Neighbors fences. Believed to have people living in there.

There is 4 of these holes in this parking lot can easily get your foot stuck inside needs to be fixed immediately has been like this for over 2years there where post there before and never got covered

I have lived here eleven months I have informed the landlord about electrical issues I have to use an extension cord for my kitchen and bedrooms and bathroom also when the power goes out in the bedrooms i cannot turn them back on because the electric unit that allows you to flip it back on is located downstairs there is only one but they have turned this house into an apartment but we don’t have access to turn the power back on we have to wait until the manager or landlord comes this can take hours that we don’t have power I’ve asked for them to fix this ongoing problem repeatedly

There have been ongoing heat issues in the entire building for the month of December. There hasn't been any heat in the entire building for the last week. The same issue happened at the beginning of December, it was fixed, and then it came back. We have radiators, and a boiler in the basement. According to other tenants, the manager hasn't been reachable for the past week.
