Owners are constructing an illegal height fence around the property without permits

Work being done without permit , foundation, demo, plumbing , electrical

The new owner of the building next to me has been doing constant construction for at least a couple of months and they start early even on the weekends (before 8AM on sundays). They also have now posted a sign, taking up some of the street parking and asking residence not to park there. But it does not appear to be official and I have attached a photo of the sign. I do not see any sign of a building permit posted. They also have been kicking up a ton of dust and debris.

Constant construction ranging from pouring cement pads badly with visible water pooling, (improper drainage and slope). demolitio, potential electrical and water hazards. Noise and dust pollution. Smoking inside from laborers.n

This is a permitting inquiry. The apartment complex at 1802-1806 E 24th St. is removing a very large tree on their property 10/4/25. "Permit is required to remove trees on public or private property, including front or back yards." This tree is wide/tall/large enough to qualify for a permit. I cannot confirm if a permit was pulled for this work (please remove if so).

Mold and vermin and running water should do a wellness check here.

Please inspect the EV charging station in the soft-story apartment building garage. The construction appears ad-hoc and unpermitted. The EV vehicle charges via the same wall as a storage room and near the recycle/compost bins. That same wall has significant damage and unknown if load-bearing.

Car was attempted to be stolen. Busted rear driver side window. Car doesn’t start
