CONSTRUCTION WORK OCCURRING OUTSIDE OF PERMITTED NOISE ORDINANCE HOURS LOUD CONSTRUCTION NOISE AND MUSIC OCCURRING ON WEEKENDS EXTREMELY INCONSIDERATE TO OTHER NEIGHBORS IN THE AREA

The landlord had prior knowledge of a leaking waste pipe and is not fixing it. He is putting up fresh drywall and replacing the rotting wood. He will not call a plumber.

Construction work without permit

Significant gap in pavement between street and curb, causing pooling of water and making driveway entry difficult. Is there a way to request pavement filling?

Work may be being done without notifying building dept. building dept inspections might be needed

Protected trees (oaks) being removed

This tree in our backyard has caused concern for our safety and the safety of our young child who lives here. All year round it causes our house to accumulate dust and leaves and everyone within the household experiences terrible allergies. When we go outside to clean up the enormous pile of leaves it drops into our backyard daily, it causes us irritation and gives us even worse allergies that take days to recover from. Any time we walk in the backyard, we find ourselves tripping over the branch that is protruding out of the cement in the backyard. We have had more than one child trip over this cement piece that is protruding due to this branch. When we contacted the Oakland Housing Authority, they told us this was a city issue. We need this tree removed either partially or completely as soon as possible.
