City of Oakland Private Property - Code Enforcement PLUS

This house was up for auction in March due to foreclosure but never sold. Since then, the house has been a blight on the neighborhood including refuse in and around the house. In the last 2 weeks people have been illegally occupying the house. They have been seen tampering with the utilities around the house to turn them on. Also, they engage in fights in the middle of the night. There is no one for us to contact as a neighborhood because we assume the house is bank owned. But someone needs to come and clean up the property and ask the squatters to leave.

Chop shop is still performing repairs on stolen vehicles at residential neighborhood, often blocking the sidewalk or the street . Code enforcemenneeds to o abate the ongoing issue.

Life and safety blocking fire hydrant emergency vehicles can't get through

To whom it may concern,
I am writing to you all regarding a neighbor of mine, property address of 2093 Tunnel Road, Oakland, CA, that is Airbnb'ing their home for parties and 1-2 day rentals. This is a clear violation of City code: https://www.oaklandca.gov/resources/current-short-term-rental-regulations. To avoid any contentious issues with this neighbor, I wrote to Airbnb and informed them that this Airbnb rental was a violation of City ordinance. As you can see in the email exchange below, Airbnb will NOT do anything to cease enabling this neighbor to violate this City ordinance, despite me providing them with the information and text of the code. Rather, they informed me that they will need to disclose to the neighbor who I am and the exact nature of my complaint. Given the circumstances, I am writing to you all as a long-standing resident, tax payer and business owner within Oakland and asking your assistance in stopping this neighbor and Airbnb from violating the City's short-term rental ordinance. Such enforcement should NOT be left to individuals to do on their own like vigilantes trying to uphold our City's codes/regulations.

I would appreciate a reply to this situation as the home is being short-term rented and it brings a lot of people to our otherwise quiet neighborhood, creating parking issues, unnecessary noise/disturbance, etc. We already have enough crime and random gunshots going on here that have been called into the non-emergency police line. I hope that the City will do what it needs to in order to enforce the City's regulations surrounding such matters and not encourage neighbors to battle these arguments out on their own. I don't think it is appropriate to leave such matters to individual residents/taxpayers.

California Waste solutions is operating after hours all the time They should stop at 7 pm but the keep running the tractors and trucks making loud noises from the plant No water system on to keep particles down trash blowing around the area

Auto repair on city streets, discarded auto parts and containers left on sidewalk and in streets

We have RVs idling all night/morning on the vacant lot next to 450 24th St. This creates a lot of vehicle emissions and makes the air unsafe to breathe for the neighborhood.

This property is operating an illegal club every night On the weekends, you can see what appears to be a bouncer patting people down as they enter the area Their music is loud and obnoxious They seem to not be following any of the current COVID laws I've contacted OPD repeatedly about it but nothing seems to be done I don't have any pictures but if you send an officer on any Friday, Saturday or Sunday specifically after 10pm it is hard to miss the activity going on
