City of Oakland Private Property - Code Enforcement PLUS

According to the USAgain website, they currently have 7 clothing collection bins within Oakland's City limits. Most likely, all 7 are in violation of the City Ordinance governing their placement and operation. That's certainly the case with the one at Edna Brewer Middle School in a zone where bins are not permitted. It also appears to be the case with the two bins on High Street in East Oakland. For the public record, I'm sorry to say that the Code Enforcement Department is failing to follow through on complaints. A case in point is a complaint I filed in February about two bins in the Chevron station in Adams Point. In July, I spoke to the head of the department but the bins are still there and most likely the requisite fines are not being enforced.

These two bins are in violation of the City Ordinance that regulates unattended collection bins in that they lack a permit and are in a neighborhood where bins are prohibited. This is TexGreen's second offense in the same location.

Animals like roosters and chickens at the house likely in violation of City code. Animals are making noises all hours of the day and night. Also, loud music from house and from guest cars day and night.

Mattresses, chair sofa, metal frame of some sort. Sitting against landscaped planter of 257 Athol Ave but a portion protrudes onto the sidewalk causing a TRIP & FALL hazzard. As well, issued with tenants whom have a CHRONIC penchant for tossing/ flicking their BARELY extinguished, cigarette butts onto the rocks and into the planter. These are tenants whom frequently smoke throughout the day- 7 days per week. Plants and weeds in the rocks, are not well maintained and tossing of barely extinguished cigarette butts frequently during a hot day, turn a potential FIRE HAZZARD into a game of "Rusdian Roulette"

This part of the road is not zoned as a parking spot. Obstruction of sidewalk. ADA issues.

The renters at this property have been making our weekends a living hell....they start playing and singing there music since 8 in the morning till sunset every single weekend non stop for the last few months...plus they keep parking their cars on top of the sidewalk

The results of my complaints to 311 and code enforcement ended with my suffering a broken foot, broken fingers, a broken nose and bruised ribs. Learned my lesson to just shut up and suffer the extreme noise and lighting due to progress.

Suprema Meats is using the parking lot on the SE corner of Lowell and 57th to load and unload trucks for distribution, in addition to using their unpermitted loading dock at 955 57th and unpermitted warehouse at 952 57th and the entire public right of way on 57th street outside of their warehouse for loading and loading. The parking lot is not zoned for this industrial use.

Lots of people coming in and out of the property, all day and all night. It must be an illegal sales operation, or short-term rental, or something. Lots of different cars, leaving trash everywhere, doing drugs in the cars and on the sidewalks, blocking driveways.
