  • 2300 Talbot Rd S Renton, Washington, 98055 - Renton
I was traveling from VMCenter to Benson Drive S [which entails passing Talbot Hill Elementary School] on December 16 around 3 pm. There are two separately spaced signal lights to caution drivers that they are approaching a school zone. The first one that I encountered was not activated. The second one was blinking; however, this does not give a motorist sufficient time to adequately reduce vehicle speed.
  • N 4th St & Factory Ave N Renton, WA, 98057, USA - Renton
The traffic signal at the four-way intersection of Factory Place, Factory Ave and NE 4th place used to stay green for thru traffic on Factory place, and only turned green for NB Factory Ave and WB NE 4th traffic on demand (trip system of some sort). Now the lights on those cross streets go green at some predetermined interval when there is no traffic at all on those streets. Something changed and I don't think it's working the way it's intended to.
  • 1000-1026 Duvall Ave Ne Renton, Washington, 98059 - Renton
Can the city increase the sensitivity for bicycle detection and add a bicycle detection pavement marker per RCW 47.36.030 for new traffic signals? The signal detects bicycles occasionally. The other times detect the left turning vehicles and goes back into the default Duvall Ave phase.

The revision to the blinking light causing traffic in the median It took me 5 minutes to take a right onto fourth from Bremerton ave and I need to turn left on Duvall afterwards, but can't because there is no room for me to turn and get in queue for Duvall a
  • S Grady Way Renton, Washington, 98057 - Renton
Southbound turn lanes onto 167 SB from WB Grady way never stay green long enough to clear the outer turn lane queue. Most of the cars in the outer turn lane then merge onto 405 south. The inner turn lane to 167 S. usually has very few cars, hence the signal changing prematurely. Traffic back up, typically extend past the second traffic signal to the east, today it was backed up all the way to Talbot.
  • S 26th St & Benson Rd S Renton, Washington, 98055 - Renton
This light, in the past, has required a 1 or so minute wait to get onto Benson from S 26th Street. Now, it doesn't seem to respond to waiting cars. I've gotten out to hit the crosswalk button after 3 minutes of waiting, and finally get to go after 4 minutes.
  • 1820 Maple Valley Hwy Renton, Washington, 98057 - Renton
The traffic light leading out from Best Western Plus Renton's(1850 Maple Valley Hwy, WA 98057) parking lot often times takes extremely long to turn green or sometimes never turn green. This morning I waited about 25 minutes before giving up and turning right onto 405 North to make a detour which made my 15 minute trip back home almost 50 minutes.

Left lane from 4th to Duvall during dawn rise the light is completely washed out because of the signal that only allows drivers to see it head on to reduce red light runners. Every clear day this is an issue and drivers have to guess of it is safe to go or not. The only way drivers can tell is if traffic other direction is going.
  • N 6th St & Park Ave N Renton, WA, 98057, USA - Renton
The left turn signal from 6th St N eastbound, to Park Ave N Northbound, seems not to trigger from my sedan at the front of the left turn lane. If there is no other traffic in either direction, nothing happens. Other times, I can watch the straight through signal cycle twice without receiving a left turn signal. Sometimes a straight-through car will trigger both the straight and left turn signal, other times that doesn't happen. I wonder if the left lane detection is working correctly. Thank you for your attention.
  • 2900 Ne 3rd St Renton, Washington, 98056 - Renton
The left turn signal for cars headed east on 3rd & turning onto Jefferson is not working again.
  • 156th Ave Se & Se 5th Pl Renton, WA, 98059, USA - East Renton Highlands
The crosswalk at 156 Avenue Southeast and fifth place is not visible enough to drivers. There is one crosswalk sign, but as a pedestrian, we are commonly unseen. Most drivers do not stop. A flashing crosswalk sign for both directions would be useful. This is also near a school bus stop.
  • 155 Monroe Ave Ne Renton, Washington, 98056 - Renton
Is it possible to make the left-hand turn signal at 4th and Jefferson a flashing yellow, allowing left hand turns when no traffic is on-coming? The light for turning left from the east is significantly longer for traffic traveling on 4th.
