There is an auto repair shop located 201 parkhurst st Newark side of my house that is constantly parking multiple damaged and inoperable vehicles on the public street. They are using all the street parking spaces for their business cars and customer vehicles, leaving no available space for residents. This has been an ongoing issue for a long time.
The cars are often wrecked, without plates, or appear abandoned for weeks. The business is using the public street as a storage lot, which violates Newark parking and zoning laws.
Please inspect and take action against this misuse of public parking space.

I'm reaching out to report a recurring problem involving the auto repair shop located at 201 Parkhurst Street, right next to my residence. The business parks routinely numerous damaged, unregistered, or non-operational vehicles along the public street, taking up nearly every available parking spot in the area.
Several of these vehicles have no plates, visible damage, or remain in the same place for extended periods, giving the appearance of abandonment. It seems the business is using the public street as a storage area for their inventory and customer cars, which I believe goes against Newark’s parking and zoning regulations.
This ongoing practice has left little to no parking available for residents and negatively affects the appearance and accessibility of the neighborhood.
I respectfully request that the City investigate the situation and enforce any applicable regulations to stop the improper use of public parking space.
Thank you for your attention and support in maintaining our community.
Sincerely,
