I was walking home from work, I hear a woman screaming at a child, yes I stood there and recorded it this time since it is not the first time I hear this abuse. She screamed at the child "Serenity", so many abusive, hurtful things. Told her she was going to bruise her up so bad, she was not going to be able to go to school the next day. The mouth on this woman has not changed. I have called DCF many times, and just not sure if they have intervened. The fact that she still manages to verbally abuse a child in this way out in the open, disgusts me because I can only imagine what she does to this child behind closed doors. Can anyone offer advice?

Excessive trash and leaves along right side of street from 50-160 Quinnipiac Ave. This was reported before and have not been address.

Why is it that Howard Ave. is one of the main corridor in the city and it can not get paved. potholes it like riding on the railroad track all the way down the street. We pay taxes also and deserve better.

Trash in park on Wooster Street needs to be picked up. It’s only Thursday, the weekend rush will make this a lot worse.

This establishment has the street blocks every day .Its very had to pass by with either parked cars or tow trucks parked street BLOCKED. This needs to be cleaned the neighborhood can get threw. THE CARS INFRONT OF THE DOORS "NEVER MOVE" If those cars get fixed maybe parking would be available. And move the rest thats parked in front of that two lanes of parked JUNK CARS ....THIS AREA LOOKS LIKE A JUNK YARD .PLEASE HELP

Fourth shooting in less than a week. We are terrified. Pd at times do not show. We are in constant danger. Mayor knows our problem but do nothing. Inner city life doesn’t matter. Stop shootings

A little backed up are we ? Very sad, frustrating huh ? Lots of agencies calling other agencies, YNHH,Griffin,Cornell Scott, Beth-El , Waterbury's Safe Haven..Every Nursing Home and convalescent homes - Many having ties to the above mentioned ( that little issue about nursing home/convelescent/rehab $ and when it runs out)
There was some empty units out in the valley, seems like local politics have complete control now - waiting for local voters and supporters to get eligible.

When is the CITY OF New Haven going to do something about the race cars in Jordan’s's parking lot!!! The NOISE is unbearable !

Noise extremely loud music, littering and groups of people intoxicated. Be considerate to your neighbors not everyone wants to constantly listen to your music. Some people have jobs and need to rest! There are also children to which those levels of noise are bad for.
You don't own the neighborhood!
NHPD needs to do something!

Need help need a handy man someone to do yard work and had a new furnace put in and i hsve black soot allover the cellar (old unfinished) need some to clean it. unable todo it ourselfs due to health. Please call 203 865 1207 if interested in a side job.
