It turns out that lots of times the police respond to a "shots-fired" call, the culprit is really a car with an illegally modified exhaust system. It's called a "two-step" and has become far too common in New Haven. It's a waste of scarce police resources and a major disturbance. Uber Eats people creating chaos downtown. This is a picture of a guy who chose to double park when they’re actually wasn’t a person in any of the parking spaces available. We also also have mopeds and high-speed electric bikes whipping up onto the sidewalk to park and pick up peoples lattes.

Police never monitor Fountain St. at corner of Lowin Avenue. Cars speed recklessly and run the red light frequently. The noise from cars without mufflers and very very loud car stereos is very bad. This is worst at night. Police coverage of this area should be a regular occurrence.
