MARTIN - We hope Martin is okay , He passed out from heat, dehydration I bet , I meant to get him a water but didn't see him when I returned , I'm a bit stroked myself.
Martin is a BHCare client , he,they have his monthly directly deposited, then give him a bi weekly stipend ,spending , This Monday they gave him nothing..They never never check on Martin as far as I ever saw. Never asked him if he needs anything.
He has no fan or AC.
Not the only one they ignore and abandon, Cathy D.,Donald K. - a few who passed away.
Signed up,bagged and stored, like a trophy.
One EMT working with BarbaricC ask Martin to harrass certain people , Sick and Sad,Maartin cries that he doesn't want to do that.
It's part of their hunt for new sign ups , give the money up or get thrown out of the program.
2 people ( call them John L & Bob S.) had their accounts accumulate some years ago , way into the $5000 range ( not bad for a monthly of $750. give or take a little.
They took care of that problem , Lucky they both still get donated clothes, toothbrushes, stale but yummy donated bread , They survive.
Drive past them in the rain , some while waiting for a bus in zero temps, - To hunt down the housed....Wonder how many "Dead People" - they collect on ( Can't be much or can it really all accumulate for the Big BINGO ! My Turn my turn now eh heh heh The next one said

Notice on Sunday no other liquor store anywhere was open but the one near mayors house. What kind of special permit was this?

    Was it privileged showing?

Notice that this city is all about their people.

We would all agree that the last months have been a time of change. Many people have been rendered homeless, and of course Blacks and Hispanics have been disproportionately affected.

I will ask you to stop hiding gentrification behind the housing crisis because it is a downright brutality, it is disgusting systematic inequality what mayor Elicker hides at plain sight.

It negatively impacts communities of color when you plan for business that get to open when no one else can, or provide food and carcinogenic products harmful to our health to be sold in our neighborhoods when your neighborhood doesn’t have the same kind of business.

It’s time we educate the masses to rich privilege. I like to call this trumpism at its best.

We just stand by and allow it.

Friendly reminder to the Cornell Scott Hill Health Org. that they are located in a poverty stricken community and are or should be full supporters of BLM , Any and all police accountability laws.
Full support of the 1000 job promise to New Haven Residents and NH residents only to meet that quota ! we stand at 232 people hired from the initiation date of 2010 -
That does Not include soliciting bribes from white PD from the suburbs to buy Parks Dept. and Public Work jobs in NH to the highest bidder (hence from which many unknown strange faces come from)
And sending Westville unemployed etc. to the valley in goose chases and worse -
To Non Union Mob Doll Wanna Be's - Mind your business , Stay out of it - Know your place.
Selling Jobs and hustling will never be tolerated out of Cornell.

Where is the protection from the rain, sleet, snow and even the hot sun. We're suppose to let the elderly, our children etc out the car to walk to the building image if you had to hold an umbrella 🌂 and push a wheel chair or stroller..SOLUTION Re open the lane to pull up closer to the door.

The stop and shop service desk needs to be more customer service oriented. You arrive to find the closed sign up when someone should be taking care of the customers who arrive and have to wait in line only to be told 40 minutes later the customer service person is covering breaks for other staff on the floor. Why is management not covering breaks? How can you close the front desk for one hour. This store needs to get it together because it is absolutely frustrating on this lack of service.

I think back on the meetings to get this store in this location and what is currently going on is disgracefu!!! Hire additional staff or get the managers to cover breaks so customers are attended to.

This is happening too often !

    Hi,

8 High Street construction is still going on during this pandemic. There are over 20 workers on-site every day and none of them wear masks.
The construction starts at 7 am and ends at 4 pm Monday to Friday. A lot of tenants who live in the crown tower and crown court are doctors and nurses. Some of them work night shifts. We've heard them saying that they can't rest at all during the day even after long hours of night shifts.

Also, many of us are Yale staff who work from home these days but because of the loud noise from the construction, we can't fully concentrate on the work.
Some tenants even leave their apartments for hours during the day just to escape from the noise. This is very dangerous because they might expose themselves to COVID-19. We had reported this issue to the New Haven Tower management but heard nothing back from them. The management team doesn't live in this building so they don't care.

We hope that the New Haven governmental offices will help us. Thank you very much. Stay healthy and safe.

With the hold on evictions possibly being rescinded this January, I really think it should be extended.
I think this is a good time to consider what they're proposing in some progressive states. To give , redirect all Eviction court fees and fines to a not for profit, charity or homeless shelter, better yet, give it to Statewide Legal Services..This might also reduce nonsensical evictions.

Recently there has been an uptick in careless, rude and dangerous drivers in the neighborhood Just today a car sped through the stop sign almost hitting some children Occupants of the vehicle then proceeded to threaten residents as they walked down the sidewalk, when the residents flagged them down for running the stop sign It would be nice to have some speed tables installed at some of the stop signs Cars use the side streets like race ways between Fountain and Edgewood It ridiculous
