Every weekend on Friday and Saturday there is street racing going on. Not only does it effect our guest at Days Inn New Haven, because guest can't get out of the property or get into the property but these race watcher are really rude and aggressive to staff and and guest. We are worried that they will cause harm not only to our staff but our guest. We have to call every weekend to inform the police about this but it hasn't stopped and sometimes the police do take forever to get there . Today our local bus was waiting 10 minutes just to take a turn into the walmart bus stop. I don't understand why the New Haven police doesn't take action towards this. What if a innocent by standard gets harmed or killed because of these racers. Please do something!

I am at the end of my rope with a woman at 370 Ellsworth Ave who has made my life hell. She comes and goes around 11:30 at night and at 7:30 in the morning, and various other times throughout the day and sometimes during the night, and she sits in her car each time for 15 or 20 minutes with the doors and windows wide open with the radio volume turned up to the max. It is impossible to go to bed before midnight, and impossible to sleep later than 7:15 in the morning, no matter what your schedule is. I have asked her politely several times, and even sent a long letter to her once, pleading with her to respect her neighbors, but she only curses me out. It's hard to get the police to do anything about this kind of thing. I've talked with the landlord but it's hard to evict a tenant. I'm looking for solutions or I may have to sell my house that I've lived in for twenty years and move away. My tenants also are disturbed, as some work at night, and then are woken up by her in the morning and throughout the day. What can I do? Is anyone else reading this also disturbed by this woman? Can we get some concerted action?

Man hiding in our property. We live in fear. My neighbor called asking me not to come out. They saw suspicious activity from a man hiding in my backyard. I leave early for work. The amount of disrespect of this city to not safeguard inner city is a down right discriminatory action. The Yale bubble is safe why aren’t we?

We deserve safety and peaceful enjoyment but cops were call at 520 it is 540 am. No sign of pd.

Don’t homeowners pay the same amount of taxes?

The Sunoco has started to refuse to provide free air to customers and is requiring customers pay $2:00. Per CT State law this is illegal. Please ask the owners of the Sunoco to change their policy.

Stolen Packages I recently ordered from Walmart and said packages were delivered Showed pic of door Twice it said delivered and twice I did not get it Pic was not my door Was delivered to wrong address Whoever took the packages that were delivered to your house but not yours you have commited a felony and they have a pic of your door Luckily I was refunded Sadly we have some sad people living in this neighborhood that can't be neighborly and call the shipper or drop it off at correct address which I what I would have done Hopefully they figure out who it is between the pic and the delivery driver to see where he did leave it

Super loud music- like seriously loud. Does anyone know where it's coming from? Two days ina row!! I know it's the weekend for some people but others have work and need sleep. All windows closed and it's like I'm listening to a radio in my bedroom. It's not even on my block!! Cant imagine what it's like for the people closer to it. This is like trying to sleep at a music festival.

This man, defecated (pooped) in front of my house ( in the open) on January 2, 2021 at 6:12 AM. He returned at 6:20 AM to take a photo of his dumping. If anyone knows who this person is, can you please tell me thank you. It was last seen walking eastbound on grand towards Blatchley

Almost every day, this person, in addition to displaying disgusting graphic pictures which children see before to go to school, harasses pedestrians, who are passing by.
I asked him not to talk to me but he does everyday.

I do not understand why we protect our children from inappropriate contents on TV or online, and we allow them to see even worse contents on the streets?
Sounds illogical and a paradox to me.

Can we forbid this person to not publish such disturbing contents and stop him from harassing pedestrians?

There are an entire group of men in my neighbors back yard I’ve seen no less than 8 so far they are all congregating and play dice it appears also from what I can tell drinking and drug use also the address is 81 elliot street
