    Trees over grown into the road. Need to be cut back if possible. Also the trees are blocking the street lights. Thanks

    TREES BLOCKING VIEW OF TRAFFIC

    Some months ago this issue was on this site. I can't find it to add to it.

    The matter has been brought up with the City by my direct contact and you can see the exchange posted at: https://hollymill30114.blogspot.com

    The issue is that where Gray Rd, aka The Ash Street Connector ends at Prominence Point Parkway (next to the Dollar Store), those wanting to turn left from Gray Rd to go left on the Parkway have their view of oncoming traffic obscured by 3 Crape Myrtle trees planted on the Parkway divider.

    If you use this route you have probably noticed the lack of visibility up towards the Publix shopping center.

    I don't think the City Manager understands the problem and it would be helpful if users of this stretch of roadway were to comment here or even on the email addresses supplied on the referenced blog site.

    Someone took the time out a couple of months ago to raise the issue, I'm doing it now (again). These trees are not going to stop growing, let's get this situation taken in hand NOW and get the trees either removed or relocated and low growth shrubs put in their place.

    Let's not wait until someone gets killed making the turn.

    Extremely dangerous situation -- Difficult to see on coming traffic when pulling out from center street onto Jupiter street.

    (2) large dead trees that are on the right-of-way in front of house that need to be removed.

    On the loop thru Southview Cemetery there is a large vine (2 inches thick) that has fallen across/over the roadway. A small vehicle can now get thru, however a pick up would have a hard time. This is a very bad spot to back out of.
  • 1712-1744 Marietta Highway Canton, Georgia - Canton
    At this intersection all of the grass areas need to be cut and cleaned up on the roadway. There is litter and debris at the curbs in front of the abandoned gas station that needs to be brush picked up road sweep along the sidewalk next to Marietta Hwy from Williamson Bros. up to Race Trac. Also the concrete triangles here need to be cleaned up from grass growing and rocks and dirt cleaned up here. Also as you turn off of Marietta Hwy onto 140 that side needs to be mowed as well as it is overgrown. Second Request for these issues. Please fix ASAP.

    Grass here is growing out of the storm drain and storm drain is blocked from road debris. Please clean up with street sweeper and litter along the edge of the road on the side of Williamson Bros. Please also re-paint faded road markings for all crosswalks in this intersection.

  • 3380-3388 Ridge Road Canton, Georgia - Canton
    This area is in need of repair....there is no drainage here and crs, trucks, drive over the grass and it causes issues for the roadway. It is very muddy and smells very bad from the erosion it has already caused. Please put some type of drain pipe or run off system for the area to keep from being eroded. Litter also collects here and needs to be picked up

    Street Light is out. There have been two falls near the light.
