There are pine trees on the south side of Lone Peak Park that are covered in vines. I am concerned that the vines will smother the trees and kill them. My husband and I can meet with you to discuss if needed. Jodi Vawdrey 801-205-8857.

The caller indicated that at Flat Iron Park the volleyball court is in need of some help. He would like to play on the court, however there are weeds all over the court as well as the dirt/sand needs to be tilled, it is very hard. Thanks

The caller said he lives by Eastridge Park and has seen "rats" on the Northeast side on the slope. He says there are "holes" and that the dogs are going crazy digging in the holes. He assumes that is where the rats are hiding. He says he also saw a dead rat, that has now been removed by another animal of someone. He would like us to check this out and see if there is something we can do about the problem..

The walking path around the soccer field at Flat Iron Mesa Park has a few dangerous raised areas due to root growth pushing up the asphalt.

The sandy hiking trail on the west side of the Sandy amphitheater that goes along the golf course and ends at the Quarry Bend softball fields has numerous cracks in the asphalt that have gotten much bigger over the winter. A few years ago the city filled the cracks but now after another winter, the cracks are wider and are present about every 20 feet along the trail. It is a hazard for people walking this trail. I wanted to ask if it is on a schedule for repair this spring?

The water fountains at this park are usually hit and miss if they work. Currently the one by the playground is broken. Can someone please take a look?

The weeds have gotten terrible on this running path heading south to Riparian Way.

long crack and pot hole between left lane and turn lanes

It looks like a large pothole is about to happen at this intersection, uphill lane on 10000 South. The pavement has not collapsed yet, but it is inevitable.
