Street RepairAcknowledged3315 Fairhaven Rd Davenport, IA, 52807, USA - DavenportAn approximately 12ft X 12ft area in the north bound lane of Fairhaven RD at the given location continues to sink creating an increasingly deeper depression and sunken roadway. This street location is on the crest of a steep hill and the water runoff has undermined this street area in the past requiring mud jacking to repair. The concrete continues to breakup and sink at the location. School buses travel this street daily and slam through this unmarked and possibly dangerous location. It is fairly certain that runoff water has again eroded the soil/aggregate from under the concrete and a possible dangerous void now exists there. Recommend an engineering inspection be conducted to determine if a risk for a dangerous collapse exists.

TreeAcknowledged1702 E 11th St Davenport, Iowa, 52803 - DavenportNeighboring property is not taking care of dead trees even though they are fully aware of the conditions.
The trees are falling causing damage to my home and property.
This is a neglected property and has already caused many issues for me over the years.
They never send licensed contractors/ business to do any work, they instead send friends that only do bare minimum to keep me quiet.
The property is also surrounded by a brick retaining wall that has fallen several times causing damage to my vehicle and property and it is put back up by these "friends" without a permit only to fail again.
Take down the dead trees and fix the retaining wall! -
TreeAcknowledged49 Kenwood Ave Davenport, IA, 52803, USA - Davenport
So this is related to the same tree as someone else has reported on earlier. The homeowners solution to this problem was some foam insulation painted black in to cover the massive cracks- not sufficient. Judging by condition of the tree trunk and the “repair”, in the next wind storm we will at best have all power, phone, and internet lines down. At worse… this is a popular route for runners, dog walkers, children walking to and from school, and let’s not forget all the cars going by.
This is an accident waiting to happen and the homeowner (and the city) knows about it but has so far chosen to do nothing. Let’s see some action on this dangerous situation.

TreeAcknowledged2605 W 47th St Davenport, Iowa, 52806 - DavenportA part of this tree failed and damaged our garage. We are concerned about the remaining portion of the tree that is still standing. Given that the tree already failed at the base without wind and had a visible lean, we believe the remaining section may present a continued hazard. There also appears to be another dead tree in the yard that could damage the other neighbor's property if it falls at some point. We would like the trees shown in the pictures assessed.
