Encampments, burning, human waste, open drug use and vandalism within the "encampment-free zone" designated in Good Neighbor Agreement for the Gateway homeless shelter penned by the City Same campers I've been reporting for three weeks remain It's an unending cycle that has gone on for months Please alert ACS, as there are certainly some folks in need of mental health resources, and life skills instruction; alert APD, as there are clearly trespassing, vandalism, indecency and public drug use laws being broken, Solid Waste and Metro Security, as there is a visible, hazardous mess stacking up; and Code Enforcement, as there is a known and well-documented violation of ordinances requiring the securing of vacant commercial properties by the land owners There are one or two camping cowboy style in the front entrance to the former Family Dollar and several tents wedged on the back side of the building, propped against residential yard walls We are WELL past the famed "72 hour notice" concocted by the City for adequate warning to vacate an encampment.so when can we expect action on all of these hazards to our neighborhood?

new creation church is inviting hundreds of homeless addicts, vagrants, criminals into our neighborhoods/one specific location, for multiple hours at a time, every single day. this area NEEDS extra help/policing/security, SOMETHING because it's literally COMMON SENSE (which I know is extremely uncommon nowadays) that if you invite/gather HUNDREDS of homeless addicts, criminals in one specific location for multiple hours, OF COURSE there's going to be crime, drugs, trash, loitering, trespassing, destroying of public/private properties and SO much more. so if this place is going to continue to give free handouts to these criminals, then the COA, city officials, APD, ACS SOMEONE needs to come and patrol and or monitor this area. Because it's really, really, really BAD.

it's freaking Friday, which means that the homeless addicts criminals vagrants are back Loitering, trespassing, smoking fentanyl, urinating and defecting everywhere, LITTERING, everywhere and so much more. if this facility is going to continue inviting hundreds of addicts and criminals into our neighborhoods, then we'll keep reporting until we don't see TRASH, FECES, DRUGS, PARAPHERNALIA, FIRES ECT filling out streets and or until there's SOME sort of HELP. again, SO ironic that when this place is closed (Wednesdays and Thursdays) there's literally one maybe two addicts/criminals we see trespassing/smoking fentanyl/littering in our properties/neighborhoods.........

new creation church/St. Francis constantly invites homeless addicts and criminals into, our already neglected/bad neighborhoods. if this place is going to continue to invite drug addicted criminals who DESTROY EVERYTHING IN THEIR PATHS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO OUR PROPERTIES, PUBLIC PROPERTIES, BUSINESSES AND VEHICLES, then the city needs to do something. Because it's only COMMON SENSE (which I know is extremely UNCOMMON nowadays) that if you invite/gather HUNDREDS OF DRUG ADDICTED CRIMINALS in one location, there WILL be crime, destruction, chaos, trash, and SO much more. So please City of Albuquerque, ACS, APD, Metro Security, ANYONE, help US RESIDENTS AND BUSINESS OWNERS who actually contribute to society, pay rent/taxes/mortgages, and WORK, instead of always defending and helping these homeless addicts, vagrant criminals who are literally destroying and burning down our neighborhoods/city!

Encampments still blocking alleyway and impeding emergency access Each day, the trash piles grow, and the fumes from illegal drug use waft over residential walls Graffiti and destructive vandalism are turning this commercial building into a worthless pile of scrap After weeks of reporting this, I have seen no evidence that ACS has produced one granola bar, nor have APD cited anyone for the multiple law violations, nor have Solid Waste cleaned up the obviously hazardous drug debris, nor has the poop patrol come in to scoop My reports are marked "acknowledged" but there is no action I guess we all just wait for it to burn like the Sais Market or the Wash Rub Laundromat n
