There is an extremely tight parking spot, demarcated by painted white lines, in between 17 Manhattan Avenue and 19 Manhattan Avenue in which only a mini cooper- or beetle-sized car can fit. However, cars frequently park there that do not fit within the painted white lines, and they partially enter the “No parking” zones reserved for the driveways on either sides.

When cars are even an inch or two over the white lines, the owners on either side can’t get out of the driveway or onto the street because the driveways are narrow, cars are usually parked all the way up to the white line on the other side of the driveways, cars are also usually parked directly across the street, and Manhattan Avenue itself is a very narrow one-way street. Cars have illegally parked in this tiny spot >10 times in the past month and the parking authority oftentimes refuse to tow the cars despite being informed that the owners can't get their own cars out. Even when they are willing to tow, it oftentimes takes up to two hours. We have had to take Ubers to work (which is 40 minutes away), arrived late to work, had to change travel plans, and missed important appointments because of this issue.

We have made multiple requests for an investigator to come out over the past 4 months, but this request has been left unfulfilled. We have made multiple phone calls to the parking authority and written emails to see if someone else can help to get this unrealistic parking spot permanently closed off with yellow lines or to have a “No parking” sign placed, but everyone tells us there is nothing they can do. This tiny parking spot has caused so much stress to the owners of legal driveways, and it poses a great safety hazard, as it would prevent escape and and direct access of medical professionals in cases of emergencies.

It would be less of an issue if we just couldn’t get into the driveway to park our cars at the end of a workday. But having our cars blocked in and being unable to use them to carry out necessary tasks and get to workhalf the month isjust unfair.

This unrealistic parking spot really should not exist. Is there some way to get it permanently closed off with yellow lines orto have a "no parking” sign placed there by the city? Can an investigator please come out as soon as possible to look into this issue?

Who is responsible for maintaining the memorial at Kennedy & Newark? The memorial has been in pretty poor condition and people seem to be parking on it / around it. It's such a shame that this is how we treat the memorials to our veterans.

    Pershing Field - The Heights

Pershing Field north of Community Center. Wide steps north of Center are being sabotaged by corrupt maintenance workers. Water is directed under the slabs and soil is washed out under whole set. There are visible cavities under slabs. Also, tripping hazard.

I request maintenance supervisor be fired for sabotage of public property.
