Hi There were two stones that fell off (or got knocked off) of the top of the retaining wall onto Bowers street. I moved them away from the street and into the Palisade Square building for now, so they do not get stolen (which happened before) and do not obstruct the driving lane There are more stones on the Holland St side and I have seen stones carried away by peopleT this is a historiashlar c walon a historic street l anthe local residents I wouldn’t want to see it crumbling like thatI realize this is technically not part of the park but couldn't find a better classification Could JC arrange for repairs please?t.

    Hello

My name is Adrien and I live at 3 Vine St. in Jersey City. At the end of our block is a grass area that belongs to the city. Last summer I put a little raised bed garden in and this year I would like to do much more. Last week I cleared a couple hundred pounds of garbage that had accumulated over the years in the brush. I raked out everything and cleaned up a lot of debris. People love to come down our road to walk their dogs and be in this little pocket of nature. I am reaching out to perhaps get some assistance in making this a beautiful little park in our neighborhood.

I have a few requests. Is it possible to have these red signs removed? Our road is very narrow and short and these signs are extremely unnecessary and an eye sore. Would the city be able to supply a trash bin for the end of the road…preferably on the right side of the end of the road by the fire hydrant. Also, could we have a water hose tap put in. There is a water meter box and a Fire hydrant side by side so should be very easy. Would be a huge help to have the vegetables, herbs, butterfly garden and sunflowers.

I was also curious about any donations of soil, plants, flower pots, paving stones and any other garden materials that the city perhaps can provide? I am fine doing all the labor with the help of some others in the neighborhood who are also very excited to clean up this street. Just curious if there are any resources the city can provide.

Thank you so much for your time
    Adrien

  • Beach St Jersey City, New Jersey, 07307 - The Heights

Who can I contact regarding a wire hanging across Beach Street. It looks like a cable wire and it is attached to the pole across the street. Wire is hanging from pole and over sidewalk about head height in front of 53 Beach Street but wire is attached to 51 Beach Street. It is caught in a tree branch and it it falls may cause danger to cars riding up beach streets.

Who can I contact for help?
