    The address is 170 Academy St. Apt. B34. (Not sure why this exactly matters because I was asking what the LAW was for Jersey City. Obviously there are local laws and state laws that apply to everyone, not just specific buildings. Anyway, this is a tenant's camera that views the parking lot. It is my understanding that you cannot have cameras that view public places as a tenant due to privacy restrictions. No one knows if this tenant is recording people and no one else was given notice of the camera installation. I am pretty sure this is illegal. The tenant is not building management and no one knows how the data is being used or even if it is being sold. The tenant is basically spying on other people in their cars. No one was given any consent to this camera. I would like to know what the specific law is and who needs to be notified to get the tenant to remove the cameras.

    Pershing Field - The Heights

    Pershing Field north of Community Center. Wide steps north of Center are being sabotaged by corrupt maintenance workers. Water is directed under the slabs and soil is washed out under whole set. There are visible cavities under slabs. Also, tripping hazard.

    I request maintenance supervisor be fired for sabotage of public property.

    1. North fire exit permanently blocked by stored plywood.

    2. Roof on north and south side permanently leaks at outer edges. Clear sabotage on part of City workers.

    3. I request City fire worker responsible for maintenance.

    4. I request certificate of occupancy be revoked for fire safety hazard.

    Who is responsible for maintaining the memorial at Kennedy & Newark? The memorial has been in pretty poor condition and people seem to be parking on it / around it. It's such a shame that this is how we treat the memorials to our veterans.
