There’s a wire hanging very very low. Not sure if this is power or cable but can you please send someone out, impacting parking.
  • Good morning. For several days now this vehicle has been parked on the corner of Cambridge and North Street halfway into the intersection. Vehicles entering the intersection are blind and have no way of safely driving onto North. This is of particular concern in the morning when all of the children are commuting to school

Was this installed by City? If so is nailing signs to trees standard policy. This is in reference to 2 signs here.
  • 58 Neptune Ave Jersey City 07305, United States - Greenville
I was driving north on Garfield Ave near Neptune Ave on 12/4/2023 around 9-10pm, I tried to pass around a garbage truck. The garbage truck driver intentionally moved left in front of my vehicle to block me off, almost hitting my vehicle. The garbage truck driver put his vehicle onto the oncoming traffic lane. One of the garbage workers right after said "Now you stuck". I would like to know how I can file a complaint against the workers who worked this route?

There’s a low flying helicopter that’s been hovering the area for over 15 minutes, its 6am. Why are they flying so low, the noise has woken up my entire family.

there's been a very loud constant buzzing noise for over a week now, coming from what sounds like a nearby backyard; it sounds like someone is running a generator all night. sometimes it runs all 24 hours of the day; other times it runs from ~8pm through the morning. i'm not sure of the exact address, but it sounds like it's coming from close to the indicated location. it's quite loud...
  • 52 Summit Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - McGinley Square

The sidewalk alongside Bergen Hill Park on Summit Ave has been in terrible condition for over a year now. It's been reported multiple times on SeeClickFix and keeps getting marked as "Acknowledged" and assigned to different people (Code Compliance, Building and Streets, Parks Maintenance - Alphonso Lynch, Forestry - Tom) but a year later, the sidewalk is still a hazard and has not been fixed. The sidewalk continues to deteriorate.

What is the status of the repair and who should we be contacting to get this fixed?

  • 25 W Hamilton Pl Jersey City 07302, United States - Downtown

This was reported back in spring and we were told maintenance would be taking care of it. 4 months no work has occurred.

Water dribbles into bowl and bowl doesn’t drain.

This fountain has not been working properly this entire year. Why is this issue being ignored?

The compost drop off located on central next to Pershing park has a door broken off it’s hinge.
  • 26 Manhattan Ave Jersey City, New Jersey, 07307 - The Heights
There are no boards on the windows which allows for kids to regularly climb in and cause trouble. Smashing windows. Setting fires. Both the fire department and Jersey City police have been called out several times. It has been this way for several years now and has become a very serious problem. Nothing has been done to curb these problems. We, the neighbors, are very worried about the risk of fire. Please can someone help us? We have been ignored for far too long.

This very dangerous-looking former light pedestal on JFK Blvd. in front of the Apna grocery store there. These exposed wires are scary looking and I have no idea if they are live or not. They should not be just dangling on the sidewalk. They are a tripping hazard if not an electrical hazard.
  • 8-24 Erie St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
Please remove the chains from the bollards. With Barrow Street closed, this section is supposed to form a continuous part of the pedestrian plaza. The chains impede that objective. In addition, they provide a misleading perception to drives coming down Bay St that the street remains open, and create an invitation for illegal parking along this stretch of Erie (by backing into the closed off portion of the street from Bay). The chains no longer serve any purpose here and are hostile to pedestrian circulation in the plaza.
