  • 356b 5th St Jersey City, New Jersey, 07302 - Downtown
The owner of the adjoined property would like the open doors and windows to be sealed and closed off. According to the owner of the adjoined property at 356 5th St., all the windows are wide open in this vacant building and lots of dust & debris are coming from it. The owner of 356 5th St said, they were doing illegal demolition inside of this property, but was ordered to stop. Now, there's lots of dust & debris coming from those opened windows and the neighboring home owner is concerned that some of that dust & debris may contain Lead and/or asbestos. These buildings are very old and may contain those things.
*Request to have opened doors and windows Boarded Up to keep possible toxic dust & debris from being blown into the air.

  • 362 Terrace Ave Jersey City, New Jersey, 07307 - The Heights
Request for an American Flag to be placed at the corner of Secaucus Road near the big vacant lot next to 362 Terrace Avenue.
There is a big vacant government lot next on Secaucus Road on the Jersey City side and there is an flagpole already, but no American flag. Please have a American flag placed at this location.
Also another American flag is requested at the Jersey City Public Library at Five Corners Library branch at Summit Avenue and Newark Avenue. There is a flagpole at that location, but there is no American flag. Please have an American flag at this location as well. I spoke with Councilman Boggiano during his first week of May meeting and I ask that this request for 5 Corners Jersey City Library to have an American flag.

Hello. I’m sorry I have no choice but to post this as a sidewalk defect, because there are no other options. But this is a picture of the grading at the 100 steps of Jersey city. The grading is literally coming up and it’s presenting with a hazard for people it’s loose. Know if the picture does it justice but as I’m walking to take the stairs I can see how someone can easily trip and fall right down the steps. I hope someone can fix this loose grate soon before someone gets hurt.
