I live at 102 Webster Ave, next door to 100 Webster Ave, where a new building is being constructed. Today, what appears to be wet paint is washing from the unit onto our property. This is unsafe and unhygienic. This follows a repeated pattern of neglect at this site (an earlier report was submitted re: garbage being left for weeks on the property).

  • Liberty Harbor / Marin Blvd. 11 Marin Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07302, USA - Downtown
there are excavators and heavy machinery working extremely close to the entrance of the NY Waterway ferry. there are no permits posted.
  • 3085 John F Kennedy Blvd Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square

This construction site is very unsafe already. They often leave the site unattended and completely open to the public (as you can see in the picture which was taken from their other unsecured "barricaded" area on JFK). This is a very dangerous site right next to the highway and the collapsed wall. Additionally, there are construction materials/debris and heavy machinery littered throughout the site now. Also, it allows access to the backs of many apartment buildings (which access is provided to via a rubble pile that ramps up to the Monte Carlo and adjacent property).

Shouldn't there be some sort of protection or staff that is monitoring this site when it is being worked on and properly securing it when work is done? This builder has already endangered the public once, please don't let it happen again as there have been numerous complaints about this project.

According to this resident, there's "Major Renovations being done in this building without any permits and working off hours. Caller said, they work only on weekends and off hours to avoid the inspectors. Supposedly, all the construction debris and old wood, cabinets and etc. are all stored on the roof to avoid detection by inspectors"
