The lights in Newport Park (next the the Newport dog run that's next to the Duane Reade) don't come on at night It's very dark

I selected Hamilton Park, but the issue isn't there It's at Newport Park at the intersection of River Drive South and Newport Parkway The sign on the fence says it's part of Jersey City

Arlington Park is in terrible shape. Both playgrounds look like crap. Fences are a bit shaky, even the ones by the playground. Not enough benches for sitting anywhere. Gazebo has flaking paint and concrete is in bad shape too.

Random tree stumps. Almost no flowers or bushes or anything. Trees look OK though.

While we are very happy that the water fountain in the dog park has been turned on, it has not been repaired following 2+ years of the same complaint: -There is still no way to turn the fountain off as the button is stuck in the "on" position when filling the dog bowl. It has been on full-blast for 5+ days straight. The situation has worsened this spring, as the fountain’s water flow is higher than it was in the fall and the entire fountain side of the park is permanently flooded now.

This is a safety problem because our dogs must get muddy and filthy to approach the fountain, and some of them avoid the water bowl area and get overheated because of that. Even worse, as the weather warms up, the flooded zone turns green and smelly with algae and bacterial growth from poop contamination. Some dogs try to drink that disgusting water! Mine got a skin rash just from stepping in it.

Can you please repair the water fountain so that the dog bowl portion can be turned off? Maybe it's just an issue of oiling the internal mechanism? If not, perhaps we switch to a turning knob, like in the Van Vorst dog park?
