The sidewalk and surrounding property has been displayed construction debris for a year now. Blocking sidewalk.

Around the tree enclosure, the cement plate is creating an injury hazard

The tree roots are pushing up the concrete plates by a few inches creating an injury risk for pedestrians

What is the deal with this house? They never replaced the sidewalk or installed a proper front porch. It's just 2x4s. There are definitely tenants in there. Sad the old owner was so kind a great neighbor and took great care of his property and the surrounding area. He is missed.

An elderly, disabled constituent reported a wide gap between the curb/gutter line and the platform. She tripped and fell after missing the step due to the gap.

The sidewalk has been removed which makes it difficult to walk past

Pretty significant dip/divot/sinkhole in the sidewalk. Stepping down, my heel caught and I rolled my ankle. Two passersby who checked on me commented that it should be fixed.

 Location of Incident: Sidewalk in front of 92 Duncan Avenue, near the intersection of Kennedy Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ
Description of Incident:
On October 31, 2025, after shopping for my mother at C-Town Fresh Market located at 759 West Side Avenue, Jersey City.
While walking along Duncan Avenue, near my mother’s residence, I tripped and fell on the sidewalk in front of 92 Duncan Avenue, which is uneven, damaged, and lifted, creating a trip hazard. The fall occurred next to the parking lot area near where my mother lives.
As a result of this fall, I twisted and severely injured my left foot and ankle. I was transported to the medical center, where I am now preparing to undergo surgery on my left leg due to the injuries sustained from the fall.
The sidewalk at 92 Duncan Avenue is in poor and unsafe condition and presents a serious hazard to pedestrians. I am requesting that this hazardous sidewalk be repaired immediately to prevent future injuries.
