  • 2-2 Journal Sq Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square
At the moment journal Square is transforming with major construction. They block the whole area and created a very narrow space for all the commuters to Path train and buses, in the morning and in the evening with rush hour these tight space are packed and exit from these tight spaces and waiting for traffic light i hectic, I don’t see any consideration for the commuter. Is there anyone from any jersey officials who can inspect and made this a little comfortable for commuter?

727 Bergen Ave Jersey City NJ 07306, United States - McGinley Square
Can we please have a temporary sidewalk installed for this construction? It's very dangerous because although it says sidewalk closed people are not crossing to the other side. They are using this side of the sidewalk while walking with or against traffic. To cross and re-cross to this side of the road takes an extra two lights that are very long so people are opting to use the closed side. This is especially dangerous when (as seen) cars are parking here. Please consider adding a temporary sidewalk. Thank you!

3rd St & Merseles St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
The construction Here has blocked off the sidewalks making it impossible to walk down the street, I’ve watched many children going to school having to walk in the street and nearly get hit by cars because there’s no temporary sidewalk.
  • 96 Tuers Ave Jersey City NJ 07306, United States - Journal Square

Why is this construction site allowed to close the sidewalk for the entire weekend? Is this site that unsafe? We have noticed a lot of construction debris on the sidewalk, other properties and street.

Why is the debris barriers not maintained? This is a hazard to neighborhood.
