I am writing to formally request the urgent repair of a severely damaged section of the public street locatedd by my residence, specifically the dead-end road between 193 Fairmount Avenue and 48 Jewett Avenue.

For several years, this street has been neglected, resulting in numerous large and deep potholes. During periods of rain, the street becomes impassable due to significant water accumulation, effectively transforming into a "small lake" that persists for extended periods. This standing water creates a major public health and safety hazard for residents and taxpayers.

The current condition of the street presents several serious problems:

Public Safety and Accessibility: The extensive potholes and standing water make it difficult and unsafe for pedestrians, including my family, to walk to and from our homes. The street is often impassable, forcing us to navigate unsafe and unhygienic conditions.

Public Health Concerns: The prolonged presence of standing water is a breeding ground for mosquitoes and other pests. Furthermore, the muddy and unsanitary conditions pose a direct health risk to residents.

Property Damage and Taxpayer Value: The damage to this public road is an ongoing issue that affects the quality of life for residents who pay taxes to maintain public infrastructure. Continued neglect will only worsen the issue and increase the cost of future repairs.

I urge you to consider this matter with the seriousness it deserves and schedule a site visit to assess the situation firsthand. We are not only seeking a temporary fix but a permanent solution that includes proper repaving and improved drainage to prevent future issues.

Thank you for your attention to this critical matter.

We'd like to ask for this road to be repaved to make it a safer street for all.

Cars to close and can cause easy crashes and damage to parked cars. review side walk and car space or make it into a one way street. And instead of putting stop signs and stop for pedestrians put red and green lights, have lots of room for bus, trucks, along with cars to pass. Fix the road it is uneven and need parking line signs to make sure all cars don't park so close to each other or take extra parking. Again start checking a assessing streets.
